Stamp camp

Marelle Taylor and I are getting together again this time hosting an all-weekend Stampin’ Up! Stamp Camp. Escape for a weekend away with the girls and stamp and scrap to your heart’s content… It’s going to be heaps of fun!

We’ll kick off Friday night with a Retirement Party. Marelle and I will be clearing our stock of retiring stamp sets and accessories. You can grab a bargain and join in a make-and-take too.

On Saturday, there will be plenty of tables set up for you to work on some projects of your own, or you can join in a class or two and make some cute Easter projects, and learn some new techniques too. There will also be some challenges for you to join in, and maybe win a prize!

On Saturday night we’ll have a “card buffet” where you can build up your stash of handmade cards, or you can continue working on your own projects.

On Sunday we’ll have some more crafting, a Prize Presentation, and then after lunch finish up, say some sad goodbye’s and head back to reality.

Tea bag folding

I made this card a long time ago but I have never posted it on my blog because I could never get a good photo of it but it is always a popular card in my sample box and many people ask questions about it. I was asked to do teabag folding for a technique class… It sent chills down my spine when I was asked… I have never been a fan of teabag folding but I tried to keep it elegant…. what is more elegant then clean black and white.

The tiles are stamped images from “mostly flowers” and I punched out each tile with 32mm Square punch. Each diamond has 4 tiles which I have folded in this way:

I suggest giving teabag folding ago it is a great technique which I now really like, I would love to see what you create if you give it ago.

Thanks for stopping by.
