Eastern Thanks

eastern-influences-so-tango-line.jpg

Hey Hey, Look two days in a row…. Don’t get too excited it wont happen everyday kids :) Part of my absence from my blog over the past while has been because I have been sick with nothing serious but I just needed to rest and get better, I am now feeling much better and truly on the mend. While I was sick I was truly touched by the many get well cards and gifts I received from customers, Friends and fellow Stampin’ Up Demonstrators, It is amazing how much a card can help heal someone’s spirit. I have made up a bunch of these cards to say thank you to all the wonderful ladies who took the time to make a card for me.

I always find Watercolouring so relaxing and I always enjoy it, Which is funny because I am not normally happy with my outcome, but I was really happy with these cards {maybe because each card was made with lots of love}. I Stamped the image onto SU Watercolour Paper which I do believe is the best Watercolor paper around, I coloured the image with So Saffron and Tangerine Tango on the flower, Old Olive on the leafs and Choc Chip on the branch. I always watercolour with a blender pen and normally I squeeze my closed ink pad and then pick up the ink from the inside lid.

I have yet to use this DSP….even though I’ve had it for 3-4 months now!! Horror!!

I love what you’ve done here…..I love the shape of the nesties…..will be getting myself a cuttlebug, hopefully, at the stamp/craft show in a couple of weeks. On countdown and “save-down” for the show – though had to get a couple of things from the new spring mini first!! hahah.

Your ribbon is spectacular, as usual.
Glad to see you back again this week. Will keep popping by to see your next inspirational post.
