A blushing swap

blushing-swap-line.jpg

Convention is here and I am SO excited, I thought I would share my card with you I have made as my Convention swap. I made 40 of these little babies and I never want to cut another butterfly out again {lol}…. I started making my swaps over a month ago and just did little parts when I had time so it did not seem like such a big job, that also means I have had glitter all through my house that whole time. At first I did not like my swaps but now I really like them, I am a massive fan of Blush Blossom with Close to Cocoa so I had to give this combo a give for the last time at a Convention as they retire soon.

blushing-swap-front.jpg

Inside, I did not do this on all my swaps but this one is for someone very special.

blushing-swap-inside.jpg

All Materials are from Stampin’ Up! and I will update the details once I get home.

Please leave me a little comment love, I so love hearing from your guys :)

If I’d posted a comment every time I’ve loved one of your creations we’d be old friends by now. This latest is so lovely and what a gorgeous colour combo…..I’d never have thought of that but am going to try it now before the colours vanish. It was one of your cards that inspired my love of Sahara Sand with Whisper White. Sarah Klass is my niece and I can’t wait to hear all about Convention from her. I hope you’re having the best time there and come away even more inspired. All the best to you and thank you for putting up such beautiful creations for us to enjoy and be inspired by.

Hi Teneale,
Can I just say… “I got a swap, I got a swap”, just had to rub it in a bit to those non-attendees. Thank you so much, I love it. Congrats, too, on your trips across the stage, very well deserved.
Cheers,

Hi Teneale,
I know this is a bit of an odd request, but I am going to be making memorial Booklets for the parents of babies who sadly don’t make it. I love your use of these soft colours & the butterflies & was wondering if you’d mind if i used this idea for our booklets.

Hi Teneale, I am a green newbie to SU. I followed the link from Heather Summers blog to you. This card is beyond gorgeous. What back ground stamp did you use? Did you use versamark or blush on blush? I seriously would love to take a stab at something this gorgeous. Are you will to share your “secret ingredients”? In a month I will be attending my first ever SU convention in Utah. Being in PA, that’s pretty much across the country from us. Very excited to be seeing the SU’s elite royalty in action. Thanks so much for sharing your God given gift.
