Case Study week 8
I cant believe its week 8 of case study and the last week using Mariana Grigsby as the muse, next week we welcome a new muse and I am SO excited because she is really, really, really amazing. I have enjoyed Mariana Grigsby creations each week and I can tell many of you did loved last weeks challenge based on the massive response we had and the most played to date… A huge THANK YOU for me to everyone who played, I think Case Study is such a fun and inspiring challenge…. If you have not played yet…. hurry up your missing out {lol}
Here is Mariana Grigsby case study card for this week…
On to my card…..
I took inspiration from the layout, in place of the lace I have a Soft Suede Top Note Edge, my bow is on the opposite side but still positioned in the same place, I stamped my thank you on a modern label punch out in place of stamping it straight on the card front like on the muse creation, were Mariana used pearls on each corner I have also used pearls but just a row on the right corner of the main panel and each end of the thank you.

Opps…. I did not post this card on time yesterday, I went to lunch with my Mum and Sister as I was driving I looked at the clock in my car and realised I had not saved this post after lunch and a little shopping I returned home to emails and a little work then time to get dinner ready, bath and play with my niece Bailey then Bed….I woke this morning and totally forgot….. At least it was posted on the Case Study site.
Here is my card which was inspired by this weeks Muse creation from Mariana Grigsby which you can see HERE. I just loved how is made the Butterfly the star of her card and I have tried to do the same on my card, I have stamped Bella Toile in StazOn on Watercolour paper then watercoloured, the butterfly shape is cut from a new SU!/Sizzix die. In place of the scallop edge I have a torn edge and were Mariana Grigsby used the pearls all the way along her scallop edge I have used them on my greeting label. Not that you can tell in this photo but I have sponged White Shimmer Paint over the butterfly and Champagne Shimmer on the edges of the other layers of cardstock so it is very shimmery and lovely…. This card looks amazing in real life and I LOVE IT.

Here is one of my favourite new products…. the owl punch! I just LOVE it and have made a cute little tree card with a pretty little owl inside it. I have used two little hearts and a small circle to create a bow for her head. I also double punched the largest circle to give her eyelids.

No Longer an Inkspiration
Yep! its official I am no longer an Inkspiration! last week was my last design team card for Makeesha’s Inkspirations. I had the best 6 months on that team, I want to thank Keesh for asking me and all the DT girls for being so nice, I will admit from the day dot I did feel a little out of my league on that team because all the DT girls are just so talented.
I am madly stamping my heart out for my new catalogue launch this Sunday and I have got to tell you! the ladies that are coming and online customers ordering on the day are going to be wowed because I have created some of MY best work ever, if I do say so myself. For anyone who wants to come along you need to let me know ASAP I have a few places left. Case Study week 6
We are 6 weeks into case study on onto the second Muse, Mariana Grigsby her work is just amazing and I loved this weeks card which you can check out on the CaseStudy blog HERE.
This week I was inspired by the layout however I have used an oval in place of the circle, I have added the greeting in the bottom right corner like on the muse creation. I added stitching along the bottom with a ribbon ruffled in place of the punched line on the muse card. I loved how the muse card had paid such attention the water colouring of the flowers and added such life to them, I played around with mine lots to also add a bit of life to mine, I am really happy with the out come.

Sorry I am going to make this post very short, today has been a very emotional day for my family but I want to quickly post my card and then go be with my beautiful Mum, I loved my card so much I just could not skip a this week.

Case Study Week 5
A new month means a new Case Study muse, this month we welcome the out of this world talented Mariana Grigsby go and check out all her work HERE on her blog…..OMG! once you do that go to the CaseStudy blog HERE to see this weeks muse creation and all the other creations for the lovely and talented design team.
Here is my case on Mariana’s creation, I was hugely inspired by the layout with the off centre main panel, the bow on the main panel with the greeting underneath. You would notice the Mariana’s creation has pearls used the accent the main panel that carrying over to the background… well I love that so I used that idea with rub-ons, I may of gone a little crazy with the rub ons! I have used rub-on for the main panel {cake} and used greeting rub-ons on the background. I will admit I never normally use rub-ons because we don’t always see eye to eye! Plus I think stamps are a better buy however I had this packet sitting on my shelf and thought I would give then a go….they were not too bad I must say!
Inside, I have used the rub-ons again creating a boarder. I had to stamp a little because a card in not a card with out stamping! so I stamped the balloons and added a little string which I think looks super cute! I have stamps “wish big” which is very fitting because this card is huge its 6″ x 5.5″ this stamp is a new set called Word Play, the rub-ons and DSP are NEW as well…. I love playing with new stuff! I have also used a new colour {to Australia anyway} Pear Pizzazz…. I am a little in love with this colour I must say….

Case Study Week 4
Week 4 of Case Study is here but sadly the last week of Muse Makiko Jones . I have am SO busy this week with the change over of the Stampin’ Up! Catalogue and work in general so this is going to be fast…. go to the Case Study site to see this weeks Muse card and the other designers creations.
My spin on this weeks card…. I love Christmas and the set I have used is NEW from Stampin’ Up! Australia I have been busting to make a card with it so….I did.
I was inspired by the layout which is very clear this week in place of the flower I added a bow because….well…. I love bows {lol} I loved the way Makiko added the pearls so I added tiny pearls to my Christmas Ornament and a row of three on the top left corner.
