Case Study 12
Can you believe we are up to our 12th Case Study, sadly it is the last week for our October Muse Barbara Anders and even sadder is that two of our fabulous design team members Carole and Cindy have stepped down, both girls are hugely talented, they are moving on to big and better opportunities within the industry. I wish them both the best.
On to this weeks card, here is the Muse card…..
And….. my card! One thing I loved with Barbara’s card’s they have so many elements that inspire me. This time her layout jumped out at me to case, as you can tell I have added an oval to the top half of my card and I have not rounded my corners….however had I not had a fight with my corner rounder I would of! {grrrrrrrrr} I LOVE the little detail of the score lines on the bottom panel, so I have done that on my card and I have also stamped my greeting in a simpler position to Barbara. This muse card for me just had to be a Christmas theme and it looks like most of the design team agree.
Inside……. Can I just say I am LOVING this Printed Paper I am using it in the Cocoa DSP from this months Stampin’ Up! promotion, click here to read all about the promotion and click here to view all the sheets in this printed paper pack
Hope you liked my spin on this weeks card, I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that did give me a little comment love on my last post, it helps knowing people are reading this! and I really appreciate that.

Party Penguin
We are having the yuckiest weather today in Sydney its cold and wet…. prefect stamping weather I say! to help get my creative mojo going I popped over to one of my favourite sketch challenge sites…. i{heart}2stamp to check out the new sketch for this week…. I must say I {heart} this sketch!
Here is my Party Penguin….how CUTE is this little guy I have seen lots of creative ideas using the Stampin’ Up! Owl punch all over the web and I wanted to have a play myself, I have used quite a few punches on this card. The Owl Punch to create the Penguin I trimmed of the “ears”, the balloons are ¾” circles, and star punch was used on the party hat, the little triangle of the balloons and also for the noise.
As you know I LOVE doing the inside of my card and I am super happy with this one, because I stamped Happy Birthday on the front I added a little banner inside saying to you…..when you say it all together….. happy birthday to you……. the star punch was also using to make the banner.
All Materials are from Stampin’ Up! and ordered from me

CASEstudy 11
Greetings Stampers! I know I am a little late again posting my CASEstudy card here on my blog, it was posted at the CASEstudy “home” in time so all the die hard fans would have seen it already. Speaking for “fans” I now have a page on Facebook, on the top right of my blog you can “like” me and I have linked my blog to this page so you can keep track of me.
Onto the card….
This is the Muse card for this week by Barbara Anders

Barbara’s muse card was amazing this week and had so many elements that inspired me, the thing that popped at me to start with was the three panels, I have used that with the three butterflies on my card, the flourish is hard to miss on her card also and I have little flourishes on my butterfly wings which is a little hard to see in the photo {but they are there}, Barbara has used bling, bling, bling….I don’t have any bling myself but I do have pearls on the centre butterfly and also on the ribbon. I was even inspired by the layout? I know it does not look like it but I was….. Barbara’s horizontal strips across her card inspired my Polka Dot DSP and yummy Early Espresso Satin Ribbon.

Hope you liked my spin on this weeks card.
