Taking a little break
Well I don’t know how to start this post as normally I have a pretty card to show you but no card today, instead I am here to let you know I am taking a break from stamping/blogging for a few weeks as I said in my last post I have not been feeling very well. After several tests, doctors & specialist appointments it turns out I am a little sicker then I first thought, I am on strict bed rest this week and then enter Hospital for surgery on Friday.
My classes have been cancelled for the rest of the year and they will start again mid January 2011 and I have also postponed my Summer Mini Launch to January as well {date yet to be set}.
Something I also mentioned in my last post was that I was preparing a workshop wow presentation for Stampin’ Up! Sydney Regionals. Well to give you a quick update on that…. I survived! and had such a wonderful time, the 10 minutes went so very fast and I am happy to report I think they liked it, I even got ooo’s and arrrr’s for the crowd. Many of you have asked for photos of my cards which I will share with you when I return from my break as well as a video of my bonus presentation of how I make bows.
I love all my customers, friends, fellow demos and blog readers and want you to know I do appreciated you taking the time to read my blog. At this point I am not sharing what is wrong with me as it is personal and I hope you all understand.
Just a note to customers. Please still email me your orders to mail@tenealewilliams.com.au I am still placing orders and if I am not able my Mum who is also a Stampin’ Up! Demo will place them for me.
Case Study for me this week
Just popping in to say that I am having this week off from Case Study, still go check out the other DT creations and play along with a chance to win one of the cutest Christmas sets I have ever seen….. check out Case Study HERE.
Why am I taking a week off? I have had a really busy week, not feeling 100% and I am presenting at Stampin’ Up! Sydney Regionals this weekend so I have spent all my creative time making samples for stage presentation. I am excited to catch up with demonstrator friends at the training event, I am heading into the city this afternoon with my downline/mum we are making it a girls weekend staying in a nice hotel Friday night doing a little shopping and having dinner with some fabulous friends. This will be Mum’s first Stampin’ Up! event and I am shocked how fast she made her card swaps.
I can’t pop in without sharing a card can I? Here is a cute owl card I made a few weeks ago inspired by a card made by the very clever Kerry Bunting. It is using the owl punch… Cute or CUTE?
Inside…. not very exciting I know….

Have a great weekend everyone….
CASE Study Challenge 14
To start with I just wanted to say a BIG hello to everyone new I met at the Sydney Papercraft festival over the weekend, also a big thank you to those who came and said hello to me at the Stampin’ Up! Stand and let me know that people do read my blog, I am happy to know its not just my family giving me blog hits {lol}. My feet are a little sore but I had the best time at the show, I come away so thankful that I have such a great job and I get to share what I love everyday.
Did you realise it is 6 weeks till Christmas! OMG I must admit I LOVE Christmas and I would go so far to call myself a Christmas Freak!!! I love Christmas carols I have them playing already, I even have a Christmas carols CD playing in my car. I would put up my tree now but I have been told it is bad luck before Dec 1st so I have a few more weeks to wait for that. Christmas is totally on my mind so when I first looked at this weeks Muse card a Christmas card popped into my mind.
Here is the Muse card to see what inspired me!
The “Joy” just popped out at me, see I do have Christmas on the mind. I flipped the layout to make it landscape, Heather made hers a little distressed but I am not a distressing kind of girl I like everything clean and perfect. Also Heather cut out the little flower “thing” that inspired me to cut out the wreath and JOY letters.
Inside…. Normally I love the inside more the front but I am not sure on the inside.
Hope you liked my spin on this weeks card.

Before I leave for the day I thought I would share a card with you all…..

Case Study 13
Ohh…. Case Study 13 and a new Muse for November to inspire us with her amazing talents, I am SUPER excited to have this talented lady as a Muse for the next four weeks…. I found her blog about a year ago and love, love, love her and for the first time I knew who she was when she was announced to the DT….. she is the one and only Heather Pulvirenti……
Here is Heather’s work of art, I love how everything is just prefect and clean….. {if I had near her talent I would be a happy chic}
My spin! The element that spoke to me was the stamped images of the flowers layered over the vine….. as you can see below…. I took a little inspiration from the layout but added lots more layers {you know I like layers} and the greeting is started in the same position as Heather’s.
Inside…..
Hope you liked my spin on this weeks card.
