{Razzle} CASE Study Challenge #46
Sad face needs to start this post as it marks the last week the amazingly out of this world artist and stamper Jill Foster, I have LOVED her as our June muse so much and after I hit save to this post I am going to add her to my blog roll so I can always pop over to her for a little inspiration, you should also bookmark her… If you have not gone to her blog yet…. WHY I ask you? Quick go now….you have been missing out! LOL below is her card that everyone should CASE this week….
My spin on her card but still keeping it “Teneale” so a few extra layers and a big ass bow! I took inspiration from the flag point {you know the V shape} on Jill’s “feel better” greeting and I made a longer panel down my card with a flag point and a bow at the top like Jill. I tried the follow Jill can keep it clean and bright, may I say I am loving this colour combo!
Nothing to exciting here….

Crazy For Cupcakes?
I for one love cupcakes, I have a few friends who get very create with baking them and they are SO GOOD, my favourite are butternut butter cupcakes….. ohhhh yummmmmmy….. not only do they taste SO amazing they look so cute and pretty, sometimes that cute and pretty you don’t want to eat them….well that is only short lived I must admit. With that in mind and inspiration from SO Shelli who had a challenge to create a birthday card this month I married the two ideas together and I have designed a 3d cupcake card which has a sliding greeting from inside of the cupcake…..cute and clever I think! It’s the cupcake that will last, it’s not your normal birthday card and something a little different! My customers were so in love with this I have decided to make it a class project this week, if you would like to attend i have all the info at the end of this post.
Here my very cute hand model {Bailey, 5 year old niece} is showing how if you pill the “cupcake topper” a message appears…… see I really do like to finish projects off with an inside {lol}

{Moments} CASE Study Challenge #45
I am a mix of emotions as I type this post tonight which yes should of been posted at 2pm SYD time at the same time as all the other CASE Study DT girls but what’s new I am late with the post again, I just have had a million things happening at the moment one of which is related to the best hostess promotion Stampin’ Up! have ever had that is on at the present {click here to find out more} I have been had more workshops then normal so I have been busy preparing for them which I just adore doing I must say, I am beyond EXCITED that I leave for Salt Lake City in 17 days for Stampin’ Up! Convention, I am experiencing PAIN and I am sure all the ladies who have seen me at class or workshops since the last weekend know why! {Not doing that again
} But I have hurt my ribs, I will admit LOVING the “drugs” they have given me!
We are up to challenge 45 over at CASE Study and this is the fourth week with Jill Foster as our AMAZING muse, I LOVE her work SO much and even like the cards I had made each week I have used her as inspiration. Here is the card for this week:
What inspiration did i take from Jill? The sky with masked moon and stamped flower silhouette. My sky is brayed with River Rock and a little Soft Suede. I have stamped the silhouette image in Soft Suede ink, I added a little shading with a Early Espresso Watercolour Crayon. Jill has used a die cut to create a unique shape card, I carried a little of that shape into my card with the Soft Suede cardstock along the bottom of the card.
Inside…. Not that excited I realise but sometimes….less is more

{Butterfly Easel} CASE Study Challenge #44
We are at the half way point of June and Jill Foster as our Muse, I am so enjoying Jill as our Muse her work is just so inspiring, she has a true gift with colour and I love how creative she is with stamps. if you have not yet popping over to her blog, you really should click HERE . Below is this weeks card for us to be inspired by and CASE…..
Let me talk you through how Jill’s card inspired mine, when I first saw her card I was taken with how well the flowers were coloured and they really are the “star of the card”, so I started out with colouring my flowers however mine are tones of Perfect Plum. I even took inspiration from her layout on my easel card; Jill had her flowers in the center top section of her card with her greeting/panel along the bottom of the card which you can see is the ‘core’ of my card, I have just added a lot more layers. WHY did I make it as an easel card and not a normal card? I think Jills work is like ART, she starts out with plain coloured card stock and uses inks to create wonderful background in the same way an artist uses paint on a plain canvas, they both have the some outcome….a masterpiece, I am sure you all agree. Lastly I noted the stitching holes around Jill’s card, I have added a similar hole row along to bottom of the Perfect Plum lined paper.
Here is the inside of my card….

{Sew Proud of You} CASE Study Challenge #43
It is so cold here in Sydney today, normally I like the cool weather however I am a little over it and looking forward to it warming up a little….just a little. Thursday brings a new CASE Study card from June’s muse Jill Foster, which you can see below:
Here is my spin on Jill’s amazing work of art, I have taken elements from Jill’s layout but flipped sides, I loved the circle coming off the edge of the card and the stitching around the edge of the card.
I made this card from my wonderful mum, who joined my Stampin’ Up! team a few months ago and is just doing so well. Mum is also like my “stunt” double as she fill in for me in I am unable to do a class or workshop, like the sweet thing needed to do last week as I quite sick but had “events” booked so I got everything ready and then she would go and do the “event” for me, it all worked fine until Saturday’s workshop rolled around and I packed her up with everything she needed BUT she left the stamps at home! OH no and it was a workshop on the other side of Sydney! If it was me I would FREAK out and maybe even cry! Not her, she just carmly re-designed the cards using stamps the hostess had….talk about thinking on your feet and still had a GREAT workshop. So I had to make her a card telling her how proud of her I am.
SEW I hope you liked my card, I would love to here your stories about leaving something like this at home and what did you do to fix it.

The BIG Three Zero
Who knew Daffodil Delight was actually a nice colour! Normally I don’t really do “bright” but after making Madonna’s birthday card last week I think I could say I like Daffodil Delight and seeing that it is Madonna’s happy colour I thought I should use it to make a 30th birthday card for a friend and heaven knows turning 30 is not always a “happy time” so maybe the Daffodil Delight will help make my friend a little happier about the big three zero.
I think I should just make sure when I write inside I should avoid writing that it is such a BIG birthday or even dare say “the big three zero” and as I type that I am now second thinking the 30 on the front.
