Update on Classes

I am happy to report that after a very, very long break I am now back doing stamping classes! I know some people are saying YAY or maybe that should be finally {lol} classes are great fun well I think so anyway and I have ladies who have been coming for over 5 years for almost every class so I guess I must do something right!  The way it works is I design cards or a project for the class based on a technique, an upcoming occasion {Christmas, Mother’s Day ect} , a theme {baby, wedding or masculine ect} or product based when I show you how to use a product in different ways or even a stamp set in multiple ways, once a month we do a stamp-a-stack when we make 6 cards for 2 designs.

I pre-cut all the materials, I supply all the stamps and tools needed, leaving you to just bring yourself for an educating and normally entertaining 2 and a bit hours. Classes are from my home in Old Mt Druitt every Tuesday & Friday night at 7:30pm, Wednesday at 10 am and Saturdays at 1pm or you can book another time,  I will bring the class to your home, min of 6 people for all classes. Bookings are essential

CASE Study Challenge #78

Can you feel the love in the air, “that” day has now pasted but some are still on a buzz with love and others are wishing they had a little love! My Valentines day was filled with love… Stamping love that is! I stamped all day and the evening with spend doing a card class.

Part of the day was spend making this weeks CASE Study card, we have  Karola Witczak as our February Muse who has a very interesting style for cardmaking. To the left you will see her card for this week.

I was inspired by the layout, the layers of squares and scallops. The String that wrapped twice around the card, I have used with Very Vanilla Seam Binding which is my favouite kind of ribbon. I noticed that on that top piece of paper it had a boxed/check design which I have carried over to my card by doing faux tiles which is a very simple technique of scoring lines on card stock then lightly stamping images on to card stock.

Go Confidently……

Stampin' Up!, World Play, The Open Sea

 This post is dedicated to my business manager, Jennifer {wink}

It was brought to my attention over the weekend I have not updated my blog my almost a month! {opps} On Friday I had a customer and a team member question why, Saturday I was asked by a few of the ladies, that night I had 2 emails asked what was happening then Sunday at a market it was asked why I have no new cards posted…. I never realised so many people read my blog LOL I must get better at posting the cards I am making.  I have spend the afternoon taking photos and cropping them so I do have lots of cards to share, I have used some of the new sets from the Summer Mini and Sale-a-bration, a mix of quick and simple cards and my normal lots of layers creations. The card I have for today is a perfect male card {well I think anyway} We made this card is class a few weeks ago and a few of the ladies used a different greetings, with Valentines Day just around the corner a few ladies used “You mean the World 2 me” from Word Play which is the same set I used for my greeting “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams” it is a great set a little costly yes but a set that covers so many bases and I always say a good verse set is a wise investment for a cardmaker, it is on page 104 of the AU Catalogue but it is the perfect time to make the investment in this set as it is Sale-a-bration when you spend $100 you get a free Stamp set or Accessory from the Sale-a-bration range which you can check out here. The other set I have used is from the Summer Mini, it is on page 18 called The Open Sea and over the coming posts you will see more cards using this set. You can view the Summer mini here.
