CASE Study 109

I am late, late for a very important date! I hope you know which film/tale quote that is from. Well I am late for a date with CASE Study, 24 hours late! Yes this should of been posted yesterday but all I can say is I am having a “shocker” I think those days just happen sometimes.

This is only a short post so I will get straight to the point, the CASE Study DT and players are given the inspiration to the left, we are to take elemets and case the work of torico our September muse. I kept pretty close to the muse card this week, I loved the layout which is funny because I normally like balance and this layout is SO not balanced, I guess the great thing about challenges they make you step outside your comfit zone.

I could not go past a bit of ribbon with a nice bow in Rose Red Seam Binding and a little lace ruffle down the right of the watercolour paper.  This will be a card for one of my October classes on creative embossed backgrounds, so I can’t give away too much about the background effect.

Stamp Sets: French Foliage and Pleasant Poppies{Pg 72 main catty}

Colours: Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Rose Red,Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake

Cardstock: Watercolour, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla

Ribbon: Rose Red Seam Binding and Crochet Trim

This card is great! Love the “double embossing” I would never have thought of that, may need to do a few experiments!

Stunning! I love all the mixed elements you put together to create this card. I hope at some point you’ll be willing to share your technique after your class is completed. I would love to demo it at one of my own SU classes!
