Global Design Project | Welcome Baby

Baby Gift Welcome Pillow Box with matching card from Stampin up made by teneale williams Australia product break down

Welcome to a new week! When Monday rolls around I normally groan a little as the weekend is over and I am sure many of you do the same. Since I started with the Global Design Project I have started to LOVE mondays, I get to see what all the other design team members have created and I love how excited the players are getting when a new challenge is released. This week it is a baby theme:

Global Design Project: Theme Challenge Baby

I went bright over sweet with my project for this challenge, using Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight with Whisper White for the colour combo. The card just screams baby boy, the colours play a part and so does the little neck tie on the baby jumpsuit both images are from Something for Baby stamp set.

Inside the card kind of has more going on then the front of the card. Stampin’  Up! Are very clever and they brought out a stamp set that is intended for cards when a gift voucher or cash is being given as the “gift”  for a baby, birthday or wedding. In the case of this card I am giving my friends money so they can buy what they need for the new little man.

The money will be placed in the pillow box, I am LOVING the Square Pillow Box ThinLit Dies which the Stampin’ Up! Artisan design team just showcased on last week. See HERE

I thought I would do a material breakdown… Which was a good idea at the start but it looks a little busy with all my writing over the top. You can see I have stamped the circle image with “Welcome, Baby” from Tag Talk stamp set as a background and also as a feature image on top of the jumpsuit from “Something for Baby” stamp set.

Now I am ready to go when the baby comes, I do have a little more time but loved that the challenge made me make it now. Head over to the GDP blog and check out the other creations from the design team and the players gallery. We would love you to play along.

I love the Global Design Project
