I am a little over excited, this is my first card on my blog for 2017 and I have skipped the last few INKpired blog hops, I have not one much stamping since November so it was nice to sit and create. I can’t quite believe that this marks 50 INKspired blog hops, if you are not familiar the team is made up of ladies from my Stampin’ Up! Team and we come together each second Sunday evening to share a card using a sketch I designed as inspiration. Below is the sketch for this round, I did comment to the girls in the team that a heart is not required or planned (with Valentines Day in a week) the heart is just to show placement for an element.

Now, I did say I have not stamped in a while; when I have stamped, I have used the same Thinlit set of dies; they are new in the Occasions catalogue see page 26 they are called Detailed Dragonfly Thinlets and you can also buy a stamp set that coordinates. This card is for one of my dearest friends who is celebrating her birthday this month, I am the worst kind of card maker because I (blush) rarely give cards away on time but I always make a special point of being early for this friend and my mum; they are both stampers and appreciate a handmade card.

Thank you for stopping by! I promise the break between cards will not be long.

Teneale Williams | Stampin' Up! Christmas Card idea using Project Life Hello December cards
As a self-confessed Christmas CRAZY should be in my element, mid-December with everyone getting in the Christmas spirit, seeing Christmas decorations adorning stores and homes that I frequent but no, I am in total stress zone! I am not enjoying my favourite season as much as I do normally! I pulled out all of my Christmas Cards that I started making in July and add to each month; to realise I have not made enough! My list seems to have grown since last year. This weekend is always allocated as my gift wrapping and Christmas card sending weekend but as I type this Sunday evening half the gifts are wrapped and no cards have been written in, I spent most of the day making more cards. I am not good at last minute and I am not really a spontaneous person, I like NEED plans and everything in order;  As I will explain a little lower I can up with a time-saving idea to get a bulk of cards completed.

Being a little stressed I had to also multi-task as I also planned to join some of my team members in our last INKspired blog hop for the year. For those who have not seen the INKspired blog hop before, I design a sketch (see below) and we all use this sketch as inspiration to create our card.

INKspired Blog Hop sketch by Teneale Williams

This is a good sketch to save for when inspiration is lacking, I am excited to see how the other INKspired Artists use this sketch. As I said above I needed to make some more Christmas cards, if I am making bulk cards then they need to be simple as you can see.

Welcome to the INKspired blog hop for round 46, the second last for the year. Like always I have given the team a sketch to use as inspiration to create their cards. I admit that I have NO idea what I was thinking when designing this layout, as you will soon see.

INKspired Blog hop 46

I totally used creative  license with this one. The card has bee flipped, so turn you head to the left…. you may see how I used the sketch! The music note DSP is the dark green strip on the sketch and the unstamped area on the left was inspired by the shorter green strip on the sketch, I kept the greeting in the same postion.
