{Sew Proud of You} CASE Study Challenge #43
It is so cold here in Sydney today, normally I like the cool weather however I am a little over it and looking forward to it warming up a little….just a little. Thursday brings a new CASE Study card from June’s muse Jill Foster, which you can see below:
Here is my spin on Jill’s amazing work of art, I have taken elements from Jill’s layout but flipped sides, I loved the circle coming off the edge of the card and the stitching around the edge of the card.
I made this card from my wonderful mum, who joined my Stampin’ Up! team a few months ago and is just doing so well. Mum is also like my “stunt” double as she fill in for me in I am unable to do a class or workshop, like the sweet thing needed to do last week as I quite sick but had “events” booked so I got everything ready and then she would go and do the “event” for me, it all worked fine until Saturday’s workshop rolled around and I packed her up with everything she needed BUT she left the stamps at home! OH no and it was a workshop on the other side of Sydney! If it was me I would FREAK out and maybe even cry! Not her, she just carmly re-designed the cards using stamps the hostess had….talk about thinking on your feet and still had a GREAT workshop. So I had to make her a card telling her how proud of her I am.
SEW I hope you liked my card, I would love to here your stories about leaving something like this at home and what did you do to fix it.
Check out the other DT’s creations and be inspired!

A Daffodil Delight Birthday
One of the greatest things I love about Stampin’ Up! is the relationships I have formed over the years with customers and fellow demonstrators who have become dear friends, many of these friend inspire me creatively and personally. One lady who I just adored from our first hug a few years ago when she attended a class I was teaching in Brisbane was Madonna Dunn, she just has such a warming spirit and wonderfully positive attitude, she amazes me when I hear of things she is doing for others when she has so much on her plate herself. Last week was her birthday and she LOVES Daffodil Delight, I have never made such a “yellow” card in my life but i was pretty happy with the outcome.
Inside….. I would just like to say, one of the things I love about Madonna is her sense of humour….. she will laugh at my message and see the humour about the talented craftsperson and know I am not really that “up myself” LOL
Thanks for stamping by……
Sewing Style {Workshop Wow Card 2}
I ‘am back! with my second card from my “wow” presentation, for this card I showed how you can create a double loop for your bow for ‘fuller’ loops. I must admit this is my favourite card of the 4 cards, I love the printed paper called “Love Letter” I am onto my third packet of it. I was not sure on this stamp set called “Sew Suite” but a very sweet friend of mine and fellow demo {waving hello to you Mrs Packer} gave me a little encouragement and guess what I LOVE it now. Like most people who like “craft” it is normally not just one type of craft, I love sewing as well in fact I used to be very good at it but since getting into card making I have not used my sewing machine for sewing on fabric it is now mostly used for sewing on paper, you may notice a little sewing on this card as a matter of fact.
