Yesterday I promised a new card every day this week and I am day two into that promise showcasing a new Stamp Set called Christmas Rose.
The Christmas Rose Stamp Set is beautiful and unique. It’s Stampin’ Up’s first combination stamp set with 1 cling and 12 photopolymer stamps. Stamp the large cling rose stamp and then stamp the photopolymer rose pieces over the first image for extra depth, dimension and detail. Christmas Rose is a Distinktive stamp set—it has special texture that gives added depth and dimension, creating photorealistic images.
In this card, I have used just the cling rose stamp and coloured the flower with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends and leaves in Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. The photo really does not do the card justice, I have added Ice Stampin’ Glitter to the berries using Fine Tip Glue.
The greeting was silver heat embossed onto vellum and cut with a die from the Rose Dies.
Inside the card is a border of the rose image coloured like the front of the card.
