I made this card yesterday for Family Friends that I wanted to send a message of love and support to after a shock death within their Family over the weekend. I started making this card with a completely different end result in my mind but it ended up looking like a card I had make before for my Mum, But I still liked it and I knew that the recipient’s would appreciate the effort anyway.
This is only a short post today because I don’t really have a lot to say but I just want to remind everyone reading this to Cherish today and the one’s you love
I get asked all the time about how I package up my Cards that are very “bulky”, This card was a little “bulky” so I have made a thin envelope box to sit the card in. The lid is just a Cardstock flap, with ribbon keeping the flap closed.
Materials Used:
Stamps: Bird on a Branch and Fifth Avenue Floral
Ink: Jet Black StazOn and Baja Breeze
Cardstock: Watercolour, Very Vanilla and Baja Breeze
Printed Papers: Baja Breeze and Urban Oasis
Other: Blender Pen, Large Pearl from Pretties Kit, Large Flower Brad
Non-SU: Taffeta Ribbon in Cream.
This is lovely and I’m sure it will bring comfort. ~chris

Teneale,
This is gorgeous. A really peaceful, calming card.
I love your watercolouring. I know you have a love/hate relationship with it….but you do it soooo well. I keep practicising and practicising and am getting better….hopefully one day I’ll come up to your level. Your bows still amaze me though!!

Teneale,
This is a beautiful card, and I’m sure that the recipients would love the time that you have spent making this. On a slightly different note, it’s encouraging to read that cards turn out differently for you, than the planned one – it happens to me all the time! I love all of your work, Jo
