Happy Easter Saturday! YAY it’s the last day of Daylight Savings for us in Sydney and a few other States of Australia, I am not a fan of Daylight Saving because I don’t know how to change the {wait…….. should I be admitting this…..} time on the clock in my car so during Daylight Savings I need to think each time I look at the clock and add an hour…. {I Sooooooo should not of shared that….lol} I will admit I kind of like when we start Daylight Savings I feel like I achieve more each day and its always nice walking out of work in Daylight but as the cold weather rolls in I do like to go back to normal and not needing to think when I read the time in my car…..
With Easter tomorrow I made my little niece Bailey an Easter Basket for her to leave out for the Easter Bunny, Mum/Grandma made one for my other niece Ebony she is not showing her basket her on my blog because she wants to put it on her blog….Yes my cute little Mum has a Blog…. is she very talented in Papercraft…. she gets it from me {lol} but as she would say “I do simple” not like me apparently. As soon as I get her permission to share her blog address I will. She is getting ready to join Stampin’ Up! in the coming months and wants to get her blog up so she can hit the ground running….. It has only taken 3 years to get to this point…. And I am not 100% she will join under me…. She has had some very tempting offers from some of my Demo Friends….. You know who you are……..Sharon {lol}
Gee I can talk today…. I think its being over tried from my “hard” day at work. Onto my project….
This was a hit with Little Miss Bailey she loved what I made her, I think it was the butterflies taking flight that got her. I have used lots of Stampin’ Up! Punches on this {I think I was channelling Claire from SU! Demo Support… the punch queen} The Easter Eggs are made using the Wide Oval Punch, the Butterfly Punch and a little twisted wire made the butterflies which are “totally cool” as Bailey said and I also used the Boho Flower Punch to make some flower embellishments on the side that you can’t really see in the photo. I love the speed and ease of punches plus many of the Stampin‘ Up! Punches can be used in lots of different ways so the are a wise investment {well that’s what I tell myself}. LOTS of glitter was used both Dazzling Diamonds and Chucky Glitter…..
Stampin’ Up Materials Used:
A Good Egg Stamp Set, Close to Cocoa Ink, Butterfly Punch, Wide Oval Punch, Boho Flower Punch, Chunky Glitter, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Two Way Glue, Sticky Strip and Regal Rose Ribbon.
Oh come on Mum share your blog name with us please………
Such a cute little basket.
I totally get the car clock thing I always have to get someone else to figure it out.

Hey Teneale, cute basket. I’m sure you realise by now, too, that you actually got an extra hour of sleep, not less. I know cause I had to watch the clock go back at work, very depressing LOL.
Happy Easter,
Fi x
The basket is so cute…and so are you! You actually gain an hours sleep!! I love that we can be blonde together 😉
I can see why Bailey loved it – it’s gorgeous!
Happy Easter Sunday Teneale!

wow – wish u were my auntie 🙂
Gorgeous basket!
Gorgeous Basket, Teneale! I really enJOY your stories (and your creativity!) and was delighted to read that someone else’s brain struggles with the simple things like the clock changes at Daylight Savings times. 🙂
Wonderful basket!! Could you share the pattern with us? Thanks a bunch!
Barby
That Bailey is one lucky girl. Imagine going on an easter egg hunt with that? Too cute. You want to know about blonde? Try typing in your email address as – bipgond! It’s the fingers fault, they type it in the wrong way round. Am going on holidays now! See you in three weeks!
What a cute basket!!! Will you be selling the basket template? Thank you for all of your wonderful ideas. You are not the only one with problems figuring out clocks. I usually just have my son figure out mine. Thanks again!!
Your basket is the favorite I’ve seen, and I want to CASE it to make my granddaughter next year! I totally understand the time change and car clock; ours changed here in the USA 3 weeks ago, and my clock will stay an hour off until I see my son-in-law next. . . . He knows the secret that eludes me. . .
I’ve had so fun reading blogs from SU demos in Australia and NZ–learned so much about life there–never knew specifically you did the time change, for example. Not important for me to know, just fun to know! Thanks for your gorgeous designs.
Sorry no template for the Basket it was a ready made chipboard basket I got from my LSS.
Teneale
