Plaid is all the rage at the moment, I find it my go-to pattern in printed paper. This week the challenge for the INKspied blog hop is to add plaid to our project.
I am excited all the different ways the team will use plate on their creations. I have used an ombre design using emboss resist with Buffalo Check background stamp from Stampin Up. I clean embossed the Buffalo Check on this green sheet of Artistry Blooms DSP (designers series paper) and sponged Garden Green ink over the clear embossing, making sure to keep it lighter at the bottom.
I have using the forever gold laser cut sheets for the leaves making this card so quick to make. Yes, even the time-poor can make stunning cards with short cuts.
I really do love the Emboss ing effect on the Artistry Blooms DSP so I have added one more pic.
If you have visited before you know I normally post inside my card but I never made one for this card YET.
