December has arrived! So has the summer heat here in Sydney! I am happy to report I have a good handle on my Christmas shopping thanks to a little online shopping this week, now I just need to wait for the boxes to arrive so I can wrap. Wrapping is totally my favourite activity in the lead up to Christmas, this weekend the Christmas tree is going up and I am pulling out all the Christmas cards I have made to see how many more I need to make.
Today, I am sharing my card for the 9th round of 12 weeks of Christmas. This week Barbara (aka mum) and I are showcasing “Christmas Around the World DSP” in all the past we have only showcased stamp sets in our 12 weeks of Christmas series, but this week we are highlighting a printed paper with our choice of stamp set. It was harder then I thought it would be to use manly paper and at about 3 am this morning when I really needed to get a card finished I decided to case a card I made a few months ago, see the original card HERE.
I wanted a little more of a vintage and worn feel, so I lightly sanded the printed paper. It looks really good in real life (I promise).
Inside of the card. I have used the coordinating stamp set and die to the Christmas Around the World Paper. The stamp set is called Brightly Lit Christmas and thinlits are called Christmas Lamppost.
Head over to see what Barbara has created with Christmas Around the World DSP.
