Oh yes my friends, it is time for another Stampin’ Up! Artisan Blog Hop! In April the Artisan Design Team have been using the same stamp set in each round of our blog hop, this week we are going WILD and using anything we want from the product selection Stampin’ Up! gave us.
At the start of the month I used Mum’s Love Stamp Set or for those in North America Mother’s Love to create Easter gifts {see here} I have used this stamp set again for a card for my Mum, I should have maybe used Birthday Surprise which I used last week {see here} because today is my Birthday! Mixed feelings about my birthday but I think that happens when we get a little older, I am spending the day out with my two favourite little people in the world, my nieces.
Last week I also spoke about how I am not a very good card giver, in that I make cards but don’t also get to the next stage of giving them away! My mum never seems to get a birthday or mothers day card on the actual day it should be given #BadDaughter this card was made for my beautiful Mum {see her blog HERE} I surprised her with this card last week, just a note to thank her for everything she does.
I will admit that selling point to this stamp set is totally to greetings for me, I adore the why it has been designed to have the front greeting “nobody loves like a mum” then the second image has “and no mum deserves more love than you” which is great for inside the card. The other images in the stamp set are two set flowers, I have used one of the outline flower designs, stamped in Crushed Curry and a Rhinestone in the center.
I have used the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack also in the card, I really like this paper pad as it is a great size 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ which gives me a card front then a extra strip for inside my card. I love printed paper but sometimes a 12″ sheet is too much, I like the variety of the paper stacks.
For the envelope I have added a chalk board heart I add left over from the Hello Life Project Kit, I used the stamp to write “mum” with Whisper White ink and I attached that with the #CutestPegEver from 2014-2016 In Color Printed Clothespins.
For a little fun, we are having a little give away this blog hop! Simply comment below or wish me Happy Birthday {wink, wink} to enter the draw to win this clear Birthday Surprise stamp set, the catch is…. Because I am the Australian Artisan for Stampin’ Up! it is open only to Australian’s. Winner will be drawn midnight 20th April {Sydney time}
The next Artisan on this blog hop is Vicky

Oh I hope you had a very happy birthday, I love my nieces they are so special, being an Aunty is a lovely thing, how awesome you could spend your special day with yours 🙂 I love your cards and I am also pretty slack at getting cards out to people and when I do they are often late LOL I so hope to start working on a few birthday cards for birthdays due next month!!!

Happy birthday to you Teneale!!! And to me too!!! Well, not yet…but it will be next ADT Blog Hop =)
I LOVE that you’ve given this card to your mum “just because,” even though Mother’s Day is just a few weeks away.
I’ve been meaning to send out a card or two a month to friends and family “just because” but I’m yet to do it! Seeing your post today has been an inspiring kick up the butt to send out some of the cards I’ve been making recently 😉
Un petit message pour te souhaiter une belle journée d’anniversaire Teneale 😉
Beautiful card! And happy birthday to a talented gal!
Another beautiful design! I think the best cards are those that are unexpected – I’m sure your Mum just loved this!
Wishing you a happy birthday 🙂
Lovely bright card Teneale, love all the layers and the simplicity of this card.
Love this card, probably because of the colors. I have all but 10-stamps from the big catalog & Occasions catalog and the Mothers one is one I don’t have. After seeing your card it makes me want to buy one!
Hope you had a great birthday with your adorable nieces and of course your family xx. Love that stampset , it is on my list and love the card you made
Hope you had a great birthday Teneale! I love making projects for my mum too. Your colour combination is perfect as were heading into winter, we all need a little more sunshine! Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent.
Regards, Carolina
Your card is delightful Teneale. I love the colour you have chosen for your Mum – it is so bright and cheerful and I am sure she will love it too. I hope your Birthday is a happy one filled with many wonderful memories.

I am not usually into cards that have a lot of black on them with yellow as it usually reminds me of bees. yet to my surprise Teneale you have pulled this off magnificently. Perfectly balanced with the glitter to break it up even more and add that touch of sparkle. Great card
