Thursdays always bring a new and excited Stampin’ Up! Artisan blog hop, in April we are all showcasing the same product, this week we are highlighting 2 Designer Series Papers, Moonlight Paper stack which I also used also week {see HERE} and other members of the design team are using Gold Soiree Specialty DSP that I used at the start of April for my Easter projects {see HERE} .
I am using Moonlight DSP for my project, I love the patterns and colours in the paper stack…having said that, I only used the Sahara Sand on this card. Stampin’ Up! posted the retiring products from the current catalogue on Tuesday {see HERE} this paper stack in retiring and has been reduced to half price {buy HERE}
I wanted to show how Stampin’ Up! do coordinating products SO well, the cardstock with the printed paper and the ink all work perfectly together and Sahara Sand is so elegant when used with white.
I have stamped the postage stamp from Butterfly Basic in Sahara Sand ink, over that I have stamped a ink splatter from Perpetual Birthday Calendar Photopolymer Stamp Set in Whisper White Craft ink and also on the top right corner. You may notice a little sparkle on the butterfly, I did not take a photo to show this but I have sprayed the butterfly’s with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz before attaching to the card, I love adding little details to a simple card, adding more interest but not making it busy.
I got creative with the design to foam diagonal strips by taking the arrow piece and chopping out the Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss.
Next up on the Artisan blog hop is Vicky
