Nothing feels better then finding a good deal otherwise know as a bargain (Does anyone say bargain outside of Australia) Anyway this weeks Stampin’ Up! Artisan Blog hop is all about saving a little when you buy in bundles. In the catalogue there are selected stamp sets that have been bundled with coordinating die cuts or punches see the range of bundles [here] The bundles have 15% off, a wonderful saving.
The bundle and save package I have used is the clear mount Happy Notes and Lots of Labels Framelits Dies [here]
What I love about this stamp set is it great for a beginner stamper and starting to build their stamp collection, having three stages of life covered baby, moving, wedding plus a thank you and tag. If you had to get really creative with the car image, omit the text and fish bowl and you have birthday image, just add a birthday greeting from an other set. I SO wish I came up with that idea before the card I created.
I went with the wedding image, I used markers to ink up the image in Pool Party and Basic Grey onto Whisper White cardstock. I like to stamp my image onto my cardstock then cut it out with a diecut. I find I can position the stamp better.
Last week we said farewell to Vicky and Lisa from the Artisan team, that means I have a new blog neighbour with Vicky departed I moved next to the shinning star of our team Allison, goodness that girl has talent and I adore her cute little Canadian accent. Now hop over to Allison and see her creation for this week.
Teneale this is SO beautiful! Accent? What accent??? LOL!
