Hello December! Can you believe December has arrived, whats more….Christmas is just weeks away! I am daring to say I am kind of organised for Christmas, most of my shopping is done and wrapped but I am a little low on Christmas cards! I needed some semi-fast designs to create, ones that have a few layers but don’t take hours to create. Todays post is one of these designs, not to simple but has that little bit extra, I am making 20 of these! With matching framelits to the stamp set it makes cutting to add layers SO MUCH EASIER… and I love that.
So what do you think? Clean design but having the wreath and poinsettia cut out adds so much to the card but not a whole lot of work. I do like traditional Christmas colours, with that I have used Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow which looks AMAZING!
Below you will see the inside design of the card, with the wreath images stamps and trimmed to look like garland hanging at the top of my card.
This post was part of the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Blog Hop, we all get the same products to feature each month so you can get a good lo0k at the way we each use the same stamp sets, I love Thursdays; to hop around and check out the amazing ideas the girls have.
You’re amazingly talented and I always look forward to seeing what you create.
I love this. Every last detail is fabulous.
I really like the way you used this set, I love your attention to detail in every card you make. Great work as usual
Hahaha, I think I wrote surprise because I never know what your projects are when I’m writing these little lines. Gotta keep it interesting. Lol! Well, this is NOT a boring card. Love the way you’ve used the wreath as a garland on the inside. Nifty little idea, that!
Simple but so efficient and beautiful !
I love the simplicity of this Teneale – your cards are always so ‘clean’ and beautifully made. Vicky x
I like the wreath turned garland! I also look forward to the inside view of your cards… they are another card in themselves!
Your card is simply beautiful! as always.
Beautiful and classically clean! (just out of curiosity, how many times did you have to do that wreath to achieve such a perfect image??).
super pretty, love the inside too!
