I just realised Christmas is 7 days away and this post is my last Artisan blog hop for 2014! As our next blog hop falls on Christmas Stampin’ Up! have told the Artisan team we can have a week off to be with family and friends celebrating Christmas.
The project I am sharing today has quite the shory to go with it but I will share only part of it today! I am sure you can relate when you first see a new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue loaded with amazing new products and you need to flick through a few times to “take” it all in then you pull out a note pad to start to write your wish list, I see you shaking your head saying yes! When I first saw the current Holiday Catalogue and spotted the Letterpress Winter Stamp Set with the matching Snowflake Card Thinlits dies they were PERFECT for my nieces upcoming Frozen Party.
I then set out and created the sweetest invites for her party and what was even cuter was she helped me with making them! She wrote the name on all the envelopes and could not wait to give them away to her friends! However I am kicking myself as I had taken photos of all the finished invites, even photos of Ebony helping and her writing on the envelopes, then about 3 weeks ago my computer was lacking space on one of my drives so I went through and deleted photos I thought I had copied over these photos and others to my external hard drive…. without checking I deleted the photos! I did start to remake the invite to show you but my heart was just not in BUT this is a good reminder to cherish your photos…. and for me to double check before deleting.
This cute little bags are what we made for the treat bags for the kids to take home after the party, I used the Snowflake Card Thinlits dies and Pool Party Cardstock, the cardstock was 10cm x 28cm and I only cut the top Snowflake section of the die. Inside is a cello bag with some sweet treats, there is no point in me listing the scoring measurements as the sizes will need to be different based on what you have inside the “bag” think of this as a starting idea.
I just love the video resources that Stampin’ Up! Create, their video on the Snowflake Card Thinlits dies was fabulous and answered the question I had from looking over the Hoilday Catalogue where they had the die cut snow flakes on top on Christmas Trees.
Next up is Vicky
