Greetings my inky friends, I hope you are doing well! I am great, having a busy week but enjoyable so far. Thursday’s are Stampin’ Up! Artisan blog hops and they seem to roll around faster and faster, I had a horrible moment with this round! I made my project on the weekend and yesterday when I went to take the photo I realised I had used a retired product which you can’t do for the Artisan hop, so I was up pretty late trying to come up with a new card, WHY is it when we need to create something fast our stampin’ mojo goes missing! My card looks pretty simple but I played around for 9 hours trying to create something I “kind” of liked, I stamped SO many Indescribable Gift images and coloured them in several different ways, I totally love this stamp set but I was not creating anything that did the amazing illustration justice.
Above you can see I have kept it very simple after all that work, I have white embossed the image on watercolour paper and using a watercolour brush I have laid down Soft Sky Re-inker with water. Along the top is a little Stacked with Love Washi and a thin strip of Champagne Glimmer Paper. The greeting is stamped in Jet Back StazOn, which is the only ink that will not resist the white embossing and I should note the greeting is from Butterfly Basics, it is a beautiful Happy Birthday image.
Above you can see inside the card, I got a little excited and watercoloured pretty much the whole surface, the top right corner has a little embossed bloosom and the washi with glimmer along the bottom. Long time reader’s know I LOVE the inside of my cards to look as pretty as the front of my cards.

absolutely beautiful!
Just stunning Teneale! You may have struggled with the card but it certainly doesn’t show! Its is a beautiful creation. Love, Love, Love it!
What a lovely effect. The watercolor ,which was beautifully done, allows the softness of the image to come through.
After all that hard work, and the long hours your finished card is beautiful in its simplicity (I know it wasn’t simple). Love the water colouring and that little touch of glimmer.
Well your card looks effortlessly beautiful as always, inside and out! I love the emboss resist and the watercolouring in the soft blue. Vicky x
