Gift Giving. Something I LOVE doing and I much prefer to give then receive, also I LOVE packaging my items, even if it is a baked good or sweet treat. I often will take a yummy treat when I am going to visits with friends or want to say thank you for something little. Are you like me? If you are then you’re going to enjoy today’s blog hop as I join the Stampin’ Up! Artisan team, as our theme is gift packaging featuring the Tag-A-Bag Accessory Kit , Kraft Gift Bags, Sketched Tag a Bag and Stamp a Bag Stamp Set.
I have packaged some Melting Moment Biscuits {click here for the recipe from Donna Hay} #yummy
Each package has 2 Melting Moment Biscuits in them, I have slipped the biscuits into one of the Sketched Tag a Bag I love how these bags are frosted with a fun dot design. The bags are food safe. I was planning on 2 biscuits per bag but the original plan was they would sit side by side but I made these biscuits a little to big and they did not fit, I simply folded the sides of the bag over 2cm on each side and attached them to the back of the bag. Creating a long and thin bag and it looked fine at the back.
I have folded over a doilie from Tag-A-Bag Accessory Kit and wrapped the topper with Linen Thread also from the Tag-A-Bag Accessory Kit , I have stamped “for you with love” from Homemade for You stamp set on Basic Black cardstock in VersaMark then White Embossed the image, to create the chalkboard look I then lightly sponged a little White Craft Ink over the embossing.
The flower was punched using the four petal punch from Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, the paper range it was cut from is English Garden DSP.
Again I have created the Chalkboard effect on this tag which is hanging off the basket, the goodies image is from Stamp a Bag Stamp Set.
