This card totally #didnotgotoplan like totally not what my original sketch/drawing looked like! We all have our own design process, for me I work out the main stamps I am using then the colours, followed by drawing a sketch of what I have in my head…. I did all three steps and got started but it just was not looking right. I changed the colours, added more stamp sets with a little embossing and it finally started to come together. I wanted it to be fun but still a little sophisticated, I know maybe the greatest oxymoron but I think I got it to work in the end.
The Basic Black with Confetti from “Dotty Angles” clear embossed brings that elegant element paired with the bright pops of the Rich Razzleberry balloons and celebrate banner. It works, but just not what I first planned.
The inside card design, I have embossed the image in silver and stamped the image for a second time on scrap cardstock using Rich Razzleberry ink to use “just for you” which pops of the page now. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stamp and have stamped it is every birthday card I have made since buying the set.
On the topic of sending cards, I have added a wonderful speech that was giving by Jason Wright at Stampin’ Up! Leadership 2015 later in the year, it is a wonderful reminder of how important hand-stamped cards, letters, and other personal communications. If you have the time listen to this video, maybe listen as you potted around your craftroom it is totally worth it. #thisiswhywemakecards

Hi Teneale
We have pinned each other on Pinterest! I felt so honored since you are so so talented. Love this card. The clear embossing on the dots is so sharp! I have been thinking about this stamp set. I haven’t been on internet much lately. See more of your beautiful work soon. Fellow demo
