I am possibly a little too excited! Only a few hours ago I received the NEW 2015/2017 In Colors and I just HAD to open them and PLAY, which was perfectly timed for the Stampin’ Up! Artisan blog hop so I can share my excitement with you.
I love how Stampin’ Up! bring out new colours for a limited 2 year run, they always give me new creative energy as I find new colour combinations and step outside my comfit zone. This release of 5 new colours are AMAZING I adore the Sage like tone called Mint Macaron, who remembers Sage Shadow? That was my FAVOUITE COLOUR EVER and it was retired a few years ago but hello, this tone is SO much better. I will have more on the new colours later in the month they are not for sale yet, they are from June 2 however I will be using them to build your excitement and try to contain my own.
I have used three of the new colours today, see my card below:
- The candle flames are Delightful Dijon
- The first candle on the left is Watermelon Wonder cardstock clear embossed and the celebrate banner is Watermelon Wonder ink on Whisper White cardstock.
- The last candle and card base is Mint Macaron, the stamping is clear embossed.
The stamp set used for the candles is also a sneak peek to a upcoming stamp set called Build a Birthday, it is a GREAT set as the images can be used for candles or added with other images in the set and you have a birthday cake, I love sets I can use in different ways. Myself and other Artisans will be using this set over May to show you fun ways to use the set.
Now it is time to hop over to see the UK Artisan from Stampin’ Up! Vicky:
Love how you’ve teamed the candles with that fab banner Teneale – and those colours are looking GOOD! Vicky x
Sage shadow was a favorite of mine too. I still have paper and ink that I don’t wanna get rid of. What I saw your IG pic of your prize patrol I showed my mom and said “looks like sage shadow!!!” 🙂 can’t wait to see what else you do with the new goodies! This card was great!
Yummy!
I immediately said Sage Shadow too! So glad we got a newer trendy version of it. Your card is simply AMAZING! Brilliant work!
Hello Teneale,
Thank you for such a colorful and lovely sample of this new stamp set. I have chosen your candle card as a sample for my weekly blog feature: Sunday’s One Stop, Blog Hop. Thank you for the beautiful inspiration!
blessings,

What stamp set is the “celebrate banner” from? Thanks 🙂
