Welcome to the Stampin’ Up! Artisan blog hop, our first for October. This round we are showcasing Project Life by Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Snapshot 2015 in creative and different ways. I have already used this card collection previously when I create a 6 x 8-inch pocket page of my niece see here.
Today I am stepping away from memory keeping as I showcase this Project Life card collection. I was taken with some of the filler cards in the collection and this one below with “A grateful heart is a happy heart” resonated with me and I wanted to showcase this on a card for a wonderful person.
Seasonal Snapshot is a range that Stampin’ Up! first released in 2014 in their Holiday Catalogue with a mix of back to school, giving thanks, Halloween and Christmas designs. I was delighted to see they have brought it back with a 2015 edition with new designs.
Taking inspiration from some of the giving thanks cards and school days, I prepared a gift for a wonderful teacher, all teachers are wonderful and have a VERY important job. Very so often a child has a teacher that so just amazing! They inspire their students and have them excited to go to school each day. One of my nieces has the most amazing teacher, Mrs Miles has changed my nieces outlook on school and is so caring with her students, she is just beyond amazing. I prepared this project as a small gift to show our appreciation.
To package her gift I made a quick box from Kraft cardstock {because I had no wrapping paper } #WHAT I fussy cut the pencil from a journaling card and the tag was made also from a Project Life card by trimming it to 2 inches then slipping the end into the ornate tag topper.
What is in this box you ask…
A Project Life quote card! I love the white printing on the kraft cardstock. In Australia, we do not celebrate Thanksgiving as such but I love the idea of showing our thanks to someone we appreciate.
Now hop off to Allison then the rest of the team to see what they have created.
What a creative way to use the Project Life! Super Cute project. I’m sure Mrs. Miles will love it.
Love these Teneale! I can’t wait to frame & hang them in our new house!
These is an awesome trio of projects and one AMAZING teacher’s gift!
i love your projects! The framed quote is delightful, the card is great and I love how you made a tag too!
This framed piece of art is simply gorgeous. I love the sentiment and how you have showcased it. I love your work and appreciate you sharing your talent with us.
