Welcome to the Artisan blog hop the last one for September! Where has the year gone, not that I am totally complaining I am a big fan of Christmas and can’t wait for December to arrive, I love seeing a the Christmas lights and decorated homes that comes in the last month of the year.
I start making my Christmas cards from July and thanks to the new Holiday catalogue I have lots of new Christmas stamps this year, I dare I brought more then normal this year because they are all so GOOD. This round of the Artisan blog hop, Stampin’ Up! have the team showcasing Among the Branches stamp set. A great set as it has Halloween, Autumn and Christmas, for me being in Australia I was not using the Autumn stamps as we are in Spring in the South Pacific and I am all prepared for Halloween so I went with the Christmas image, creating a simple but bold Christmas card.
I am a ribbon lover! And totally adore the new 1/8″ Striped ribbon pack from the Holiday catalogue, it comes with 4.6m of Real Red and Garden Green.
The next blog on the Artisan on the blog hop is Allison with something AMAZING

Oh, I just love the candy-cane-color combo!!! This little card is sweet, sweet, sweet – in every sense of the word.
Hi Teneale!
Love this card! Hope you don’t mind me CASE-ing you? Just wondered how you made your real red stamp so crisp? Mine’s very inky and is getting into the pattern 🙁
Thanks

Sam, Mine was like that so I pressed my ink pad onto scrap paper to make the pad a little dryer. Totally not ideal but worked, I think I also stamped with the piercing mat under my cardstock.
