Warning!!!
Its a little scary….
…
No, not the monsters!
Its September, ALREADY…..
What happened to 2014!
…
I had such big plans for the year
including having a Halloween party
Halloween is not too popular in Australia
but my sister is a big fan and my Canadian friend
Heather was living in Australia for the year.
The 3 of us thought we would have a big Halloween
party but I looked at my calender and I don’t see
me fitting one in this year.
…
Even without having a big party I like to
give my 2 nieces a little Halloween treat
and I have this card design on my mind for months
since again my friend Heather’s Mother send a card over.
…
It is one of those cards you need to see first
before I “try” to explain it.
That is a pretty impressive project, right?
I am SO excited to share it with my little nieces
who are sometimes little monsters!
I LOVE that greeting.
You can see above I created a box with a
belly band around the base that slides off.
Pull the little ribbon and the box slides…
NOTE:
I have used the new mini stapler
to attach the ribbon… I love that little tool.
I was surprised that it went through
2 layers of ribbon and DSP with no issue.
You can see the images spring up.
The images have a thin strip of window sheet
attached with glue dots.
I have three rows of images.
With the smaller images at the front
three images in the middle row and
the back row just 2 images which I placed
inline with the spaces from the second row.
I have wrapped 3 mini Chocolate bars
one has a plastic spider…
So trick or treat is fitting {wink}
….
I know my nieces will love this interactive
Halloween treat I have created them.
