As soon as I saw this stamp set in the Demonstrator preview before the Idea Book and Catalogue came out in April, I just knew I had to get it, I love that Stampin’ Up! have designed this set for the Australian Market. It is a fun image to watercolour as it has so much detail in each image it takes the guess work out of watercolouring the light and shade. At Convention My Marvellous Downline Maree received a swap that someone had stamped in just in Choc Chip on Very Vanilla and made a lovely Monochromatic card, so it is a set that can be used in many ways, This set is a Classic set that I have already marked as a “keeper” when SU retire it.
As I have said before I don’t think I am a great Water Colourer but at Convention I had one of those “Are you Crazy Moments” ….. I was at dinner with fellow INKling demonstrators {which is the downline family of Jayne Mercer} and I was asked by a one of the girls if I did water colouring classes? as she thinks I watercolour well {I think it was the compliment that got me in} I told her that I don’t have a water colouring class planned for a while but I could do a watercolour session at one of Jayne Mercer’s INKling training sessions {WHAT} At the time I thought it was a great idea that we all share our water colouring tips with each other…..Yeah…..Only problem……I don’t have tips besides….. use SU watercolour paper!!!! So I am on a mission to improve and practice my water colouring before the session so get ready for a few more water colouring cards.

WOW, Teneale….. That is just wonderful. I wish I was a demo just so I could attend the session, I did get your email about this months promo and I am thinking about joining your team? Just say I did, Can we do that at your training night you hold?
The only thing that upsets we when I check your blog is…… My cards never look like your….
AND…..
YOU need to believe in your amazing talent more, I would love to make cards like you, GIRL come on. You know you have a fan club.
Great work Teneale
Teneale I am so sorry about this last post, Your work is just amazing and it is your attention to detail that makes your work stand out. Plus I can say I don’t think you believe in yourself and your work enough.
Jessica, If you don’t like her work…..Don’t stop by her blog.
Lots of love Maree King.
Another gorgeous card Teneale. SU watercolour paper is fantastic, isn’t it? Using the watercolour crayons on whisper white is also fun – but beware! VERY addictive!!! And as someone who knows you personally I say to the incredibly rude Jessica – NO Teneale is NOT up herself, far from it. Maybe a look into your own personality would be in order.
Hi Teneale
I just wanted to say what a beautiful card and your colouring is divine! That banksia looks so realistic! I haven’t tried the water colour paper yet, does it make that much of a difference?
Teneale, this card is gorgeous. Your watercolouring is fabulous and if I could do as well, I would be stoked. I also love this set of stamps. I’m hoping to do your class at the June Scrapbooking and Papercraft convention being held in Brisbane. Your convention swaps are beautiful and I certainly wish I had managed to get one.
As to Jessica, you should be ashamed of yourself for being so very rude!!
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! Teneale you are just so super talented – thanks so much for sharing your gorgoues creations with us!
Luv
Karen

A very gorgeous card Teneale. Wow, I didn’t know people could be that rude and leave such horrible comments. Can you delete that one???
Your watercolouring is great. I was wowed at Convention by Shelli’s watercolouring – using an aqua painter, pick up the colour from the end of the watercolour crayons and then apply to the paper. Good luck with the class, I’m sure you will do well.
wow……..incredible card……….if I knew who jessica was I’d bop her on the noggin!!! You go girl….as you said – we are all here supporting each other in this great hobby…….I will ALWAYS love your work and heart Ms Teneale……because THEY ARE FANTASTIC!!!!!
What a fabbo card, your waterclouring is amazing. I always wish I could do it as well… actually I wish I could just do it!!!!LOL. Thankyou for giving me inspiration for using this set at a workshop in a few weeks. The lady hosting requested me using the set (which I’m pinching off Mum), totally out of my comfort zone but love a challenge.
Thanks again for sharing all your gorgeous creations.
🙂
Love the card!!!
Teneale….I met you briefly at Craft Fest earlier this year and you were absolutely lovely. Everyone was busy, yet you took time out to talk with me and help me place my order (like I needed anymore SU stuff – I’m soooo hooked) and you made sure I got what I wanted/needed/had-to-have rather than duplicates of stuff I’d already purchased. We were strangers, yet you were absolutely lovely and made a lasting impression on me.
I absolutely LOVE your blog and whilst I’m not really a fan of this particular stamp set….I love your colouring technique and layering style. Your giraffe card is one of my favs and I’ll be casing this card multiple times in the future.
Your cards are gorgeous and simplistic and I believe that you have been gifted and talented for a divine purpose. If only I could tie my ribbons like you do!! 🙂
Bless you, xxxx Michey
I am sorry to hear that someone has not been very NICE in their comments to you Teneale.
I LOVE your cards full stop and each and everyone of us are our own worst critic. I must tell Nicky that she is being talked about on your blog (LOL), she will love it!! Yes, it was Nicky that asked about you showing her how to watercolour. You know, even if you don’t have any ‘tips’ as such, just watching you colour will be the biggest ‘tip’ of all to us who have no idea!!
I will keep checking the forum to see when you will be demonstrating for us as I will be there come rain, hail or shine. Keep your chin up and keep producing wonderful cards.
Kylie.
I just adore this card. That flower looks like it is jumping off the page. Beautiful as is all your work – oh to be able to produce cards like yours. I would dearly love to do a class with you!
OMG Girl, you certainly can colour, I’d come to a class taught by you!
Dear Teneale, your work is always stunning, your style is very inspirational and I always love stopping by your blog to have a look. :0) Keep up the great work – don’t let one person get you down, she’s just green with envy – you are definitely an inspiration to us all.
Hugs,
Angie
