I did not think I was ever going to get this posted, I have had so many “technical difficulties” over the weekend with my computer then camera…. that just had to happen at the same time…grrrr…. at least it looks like it is all fixed up and it should be fine now thanks to a little “geek” help. Last week I found a challenge/stamping site called “embellish” I know they have been around for a while and I have seen there badge on peoples blogs but I had not been to the site myself….. Well…. I wish I had stopped by sooner! what a talented bunch over there, very inspiring and I love the challenges they set. I felt so inspired I played along straight away, the challenge was to create a “party” inspired project that used Kraft, Red, White and Black {what a yummy colour combo}.

embellishparties_cocktail-gate-fold.jpg

Well I don’t “party” much because….well……I am really not that hip n happen’ {lol} but I was already excited because the second trailer for “Sex in the City 2” was released that day….and its GOOD! {yes that’s how un-hip I am…. I get excited over movie trailers lol…. I blame years of working in the film industry for that} My sister and I both loved the first “Sex in the City” Film and went together on the first day of release with the full Gold Class experience. My Sister works full time in a very demanding Marketing role and has 2 little girls so going to the movies together without the kids is VERY VERY rare, I made her a save the date/invite for us to go see the film on the release day.

I did cheat a little and added green to the olive in the Martini…. It is my understanding a good Martini needs an olive so I just had to add that little bit of green {lol} 😉

The Martini’s are a little bit of a joke between her and I from the first film, getting in the spirit we {who both never really drink} ordered Martini’s each to take in to the Cinema because we were at Gold Class….Anyway they were STRONG I had a little sip and I was done…. I gave her mine, she had both and then found the film even more enjoyable because well she was a little drunk. When I gave her the invite I told her the only cocktails get was getting this time were inside the card {lol}

    This is unbelievably beautiful, Teneale! Well, not unbelievably, because it’s pretty darn typical of you, but it is gorgeous all the same! The Medallion stamp is MADE to emboss on red – and why didn’t I think of that? I love that you have put so much love into this ‘save the date’ card for your sister. What a fun thing to do together.

    Hi Teneale OR Boss whichever you like more. he.he.

    Jessica woke me up by making lots of noise in our kitchen, I popped out of my room to kill her and this is how it went down……..

    Setting the scene: Amy still half a sleep enters the kitchen, ready to kill her room mate Jessica

    Jess: Hi Amy! Your awake too! Hey did you realise Sex in the City is out in June
    Amy: WHAT
    Jess: Teneale and her Sister are going
    Amy: What Teneale as in Boss Teneale
    Jess: Yeah look! She made a card {Amy is taken to Jess’s Mac}
    Amy:…WHAT…. I don’t understand
    Jess: Look, she is so clever! Sometimes scary and bossy but very clever
    Amy: Wow she is good at this
    Jess: Yeeeeeeah. I miss her
    Amy: ohhh…. the trailer….Watch it! Watch it
    {Both watch}
    Amy: Elise will kill her for plugging Hoyts. Lets email her.
    Both: Yeah
    Jess: Get Teneale in trouble for once {giggling}

    Well I hope that put a smile on your face, like Jess said it has been forever and your the best. We love you, You always listened to our problems that were never really problems I now realise but you gave very good advise, You were like our work Mum.. We need to all catch up? Want to go to the movies. I can get you cheap tickets he.he

    Love Amy

    This is GAWJUSS!!!!!! My girlfriends and I are going to Atlantic City, NJ for the weekend before SITC2 opens. We are going to watch seasons 4, 5 and 6 and the first movie all weekend. We are going to get all bedazzled and go out to dinner and dancing. It’s going to be excellent! How exciting that you and your sister are taking time to see this together, as well. Have a blast!! Would you mind if I CASE this for my girls that are attending the weekend with me? They will FLIP when they open this invite!!!! (even though we’ve been planning it for months!) heehee!! It’s so fun to be a girl!!!!!!!!!

  14. Her Sister says: April 13, 2010 at 3:56 pm

    “Divine” That was the word I used to describe the card when I saw it. Can’t wait to see the show with you and I’m a little disappointed that the only drinks I can have are those inside the card. I’m very proud of everything you do and glad you posted it online cause I’d told some of the girls from work about it yesterday and went looking but it wasn’t there. So I’ve shown them today. Love ya…
