CASE Study 107

September 6, 2012

My goodness gracious, I can not even began to explain the week that I have had! However the highlight was receiving all my new stamps, colours, papers and ribbon which I ordered from the new 2012/2013 SU! Catalogue.

Thursday means its is CASE Study time and because it is a new month we have a new muse, please welcome   Yoshie Nakagaki aka. Torico, as our September Muse!! She is amazing, not only as a cardmaking but as a  illustrator of stamps and also digital designs.

I really liked her layout with the printed paper strip at the bottom, the image in a circle and the stitching around the card. The spin on the layout is clear I think but I added ribbon because I love ribbon. I think because I did want to use lots of my new products I have used 5 different stamp sets!

I have just add this to give you a snap shot of what I did to create the panel across the card, I have stamped out three images from Everything Eleanor on Very Vanilla Cardstock, cut them out and then layered them together  like this, once the circle was placed on the card it cover the joins/ends of the images. As shown in then above photo of the card. I must admit I was feeling a little clever for coming up with this idea!

Stamps:  You Are Loved {Page 24}, French Foliage {Page 86},Blooming with Kindness {87} Everything Eleanor {Page 112}  and Affection Collection {Page 35 Holiday}

Ink: Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake

Paper: World Spectacular, {Page 163}

Ribbon: Crochet Trim and Very Vanilla Seam Binding

    This is gorgeous, Teneale! Your cards are always inspiring, but this one is brilliant! I have to ask about the pink panel – is it designer paper or did you create it? Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful work!
