I just made a “quick” trip to the shops to pick up some grocery items to start my Christmas cooking “stock pile” but I was shocked at how busy the shops were, I spent forever just trying to find a park then trying to get through the crowds to get from point A to point B! I am SO a get in, get what I want and get out fast shopper! but with how busy it was it took me much longer then planned… grrrr and I think I will plan to go at night next week to buy the remained of the grocery’s for Christmas that way the other shops will be closed and only the grocery shops will be open at my local Westfeild fingers crossed it will not be to busy.
I should move right along to the reason I am posting, it is CASE Study time and week 3 with December Muse Amy Sheffer I said it last week and I will say it again, I love Amy’s work and how amazing is this weeks inspiration card she has created. I took several elemnets of inspiration from Amy’s card, to start with Butterflies inside a circle which you can see on the box lid and also on the cards I have three inside an oval. I loved her colours with the cream and black with a little pop of colour which I tried to use but I just a little more Perfect Plum then I first planned but hey! It looks ok I guess. The scallop along the bottom of Amy’s card inspired my scallop along the bottom of my greeting.
Later tonight I have day 4 of my Christmas Create Down!
Hey Teneale, I so hear you about the shopping. Got stuck in a Westfield car park recently and it was not pretty. I think most of the shops (not just the supermarkets) will be open late the week before Christmas so it may not be so quiet for grocery shop. And lovely purple creation too. Good luck, may the force be with you at the shops…
Gorgeous cards.
