Thursday has rolled around again and it is CASE Study time, the last week with Agnieszka who has wowed and inspired us with her amazing cards, for me she reminded me that less is more, sometimes I think I get a little carried away with layers on my cards. I am super excited for next months Muse, keep an eye out over at the CASE Study home for a hint through the week to who the June Muse will be.
To the left is the sample for this week, like all of Agnieszka‘s cards they have so many simple elements that you can take and build with your own personal style. The end result of this card was not what I sketched out to start with, it kind of changed a little and took on a life of its own but I like the end result, what do I mean? It was going to be a portrait card but I cut the printed paper with the design going landscape and I did not have enough paper to cut it the correct way so I just went with it, I wanted to use this paper as I took inspiration from the muse sample with the rose’s. I loved how Agnieszka has the white space and a cluster of layer, so I used that with my ribbon, scallop oval and greeting flag.
I did not get this paper, but I am wishing I did, just for this pattern. Just gorgeous with your little sentiment and butterfly!!!
This card is just gorgeous. That little stamp set has made some amazing cards.
Love this!!! So great to finally meet you at Convention this week. Xxx
Hi Teneale,
I love this card design. Can you tell me what paper you used? I don’t see it in my SU catalog. Thanks so much, great work!
Hi Teneale. I have been enjoying your cards for a long time and only today figured out how to get into your blog to leave a comment! This card is particularly interesting to me because of the colors and the text. It all fits together so seamlessly. Thanks for the inspiration. Now that I know how to get here, I’m sure you will hear more from me. 🙂
