Hi everyone, its CASE Study time again and the last week of Silke Ledlow as the muse. On a personal note; I am back from my trip to Orlando/Disney World, I had the best time but it just went so fast. I have come home and booked my next trip to Salt Lake City in July for Stampin’ Up! US Convention which I am SUPER excited about…. only 73 days until I leave! Something else I am excited about is my new computer which I am using to make this post…..I have only had it a few hours and I think I am in love!!!! It is a touch screen which is totally cool and also the screen is nice and big so I can enlarge what I am looking at make it easier on my poor old eyes, as some people know I have been having some eye sight issues lately so this will help, my eye sight caused a few issues while I was away which I can now giggle at, I was in the shower and reached to pick up a bottle of shampoo but it was hand cream….. I did not realise at first as both were new bottle I bought over there so I was not familiar with the bottle shape and I put the hand cream in my hair, it clicked with me what I had done as I was trying to wash it out and it was not washing out like it would normally! What’s worse I had a few other “moments”. Tipping was something “new” as we do not tip for as many things here in Australia as in the US and I again had just taken my glasses off and pulled out what I was sure was $4 {4 x $1 bills} but it was $103 {1 x $100 note & 3 x $1 bill} to tip someone….opps! I should of learnt my lesson but I did it again giving $50 in place of a $5 that time was just not looking at the notes well enough and I think I was too busy talking, this time I received lots of smaller notes for change, the lovely sales assistant thought I was mad when I told her she had given me too much change. Over the trip I took lots of photos and I will do a trip wrap up next week.
I always do this I talk to much about myself and not the card at hand, below in Silke’s Muse card for this week……What has inspired you?
What did I take inspiration from in the card? The pink on pink tones, the striped printed paper for the background, the pearls, and even the layout with a little twist…. I used the panel along the bottom and added a lovely scallop to mine, I was taken with Silke’s bow and flower to the right that so I used that in my card only spacing it out a little with the bow on the left and the butterfly/greeting on the right.
Inside…..
Check out the other DT’s creations and be inspired!

You’re going to the US convention – AAAAHHHHHH!!! So jealous. I can’t wait to hear all about it. I have this set on order and this card will definitely be at the top of my CASE list, when it arrives. I love how it is quite simple (compared to your other cards) yet so striking.

This is just gorgeous! Love seeing your beautiful cards.
Loved hearing about your tips in the US!
You know Teneale I don’t comment anywhere near as often as I should and I’m ashamed to say that I have saved numerous of your wonderful creations in my inspiration folder. So I’m going to stop lurking and start telling you what wonderful projects you create. I love how you finish the inside of the card to the same degree as the front. This little wonder being a perfect example. Thank you for all your inspiration Teneale.
Just gorgeous. You do the pink thing so well!
xoxo
You are coming to the US SU! convention?!?! That is so awesome. I am finally going for first time, yesterday my vacation days were finally approved,so I booked my plane ticket and hotel right away. Would love to meet you!!!! Of course if you have time 🙂
btw I ADORE your work!!!!
Please, please, please keep blogging. I LOVE your creations and have bookmarked SO many as inspiration for my own cards. If you get bogged down by the photography, try taking some short cuts. Use a program that will do the editing for you (like Picassa). I know how it is to be short on time, but the blogging world would surely lose a treasure should you choose not to post anymore. Thank you for all you do for us out here in Blog Land.
Always lovely Teneale. Will I see you at convention?
I love your work, so pretty… would you please share how you create the scallop along the bottom? I have it seen it done but can’t figure it out! thanks!
Gorgeous indeed, Teneale! You certainly have a wonderful style all your own, each creation is more lovely than the next! This monochromatic beauty in pink is a dream!
Teneale, your beautiful cards represent the pinnacle of cards to me! I recently CASE’d one of your cards for a 100th birthday. You create such stunning cards, always beautifully photographed! Thank you for your blog and your continued sharing, Teneale.

Another stunner from the front right thru to the inside! Love your colors and the bow is just perfect!
Absolutely lovely and beautiful! I found your blog through a fan of yours who cased your beautiful card on Splitcoaststampers providing a link to your blog. I’m glad you enjoyed your visit to Disney World. My husband is a HUGE Disney fan and we go there a lot. I got such a giggle out of your “cream rinse” story!
