Can you feel the love in the air, “that” day has now pasted but some are still on a buzz with love and others are wishing they had a little love! My Valentines day was filled with love… Stamping love that is! I stamped all day and the evening with spend doing a card class.
Part of the day was spend making this weeks CASE Study card, we have Karola Witczak as our February Muse who has a very interesting style for cardmaking. To the left you will see her card for this week.
I was inspired by the layout, the layers of squares and scallops. The String that wrapped twice around the card, I have used with Very Vanilla Seam Binding which is my favouite kind of ribbon. I noticed that on that top piece of paper it had a boxed/check design which I have carried over to my card by doing faux tiles which is a very simple technique of scoring lines on card stock then lightly stamping images on to card stock.
Inside the card:
Lovely! TFS 😉
This is gorgeous!!! LOVE the red–I haven’t done tiling lately, you’ve inspired me to do it again!!! 🙂
a very ‘older’ technique I had forgotten about, so thank you for reminding me; such a lovely card!
Gorgeous, as always. You are an amazing source of inspiration. Maybe my Trending Tuesday should be Teneale Tuesdays. Thank you for stopping by and leaving sweet comments.
Teneale, I came across your blog just a few days ago and I love it. You are so creative and I love what you make. This card is fab. I haven’t tried this tile technique before, but I will now.
Thanks for the inspiration!
