Stampin' Up! Forever Young, Teneale Williams, got treats, Brayer

Hands up, who enjoyed the CASE Study blog hop last Thursday? {my hand is up high waving it around} I had a great time, I was blown away by all the cards for the Muse’s and DT Girls! And who won prizes!!!! Linda R was the winner here at my blog.

The exciting thing is, in August we are celebrating all month long and this week we are mixing things up again…. We are using our past players as the muse, so the design team were sent off looking for a card/player we wanted to case!

Teneale Williams Muse

It was great fun looking at all the cards but there is LOTS  of cards I had a short list then I selected a elegant card from Tui Nathan which you can see to the left, also check out her blog for the most wonderful cards…HERE

I think I took the easy option in picking this card, Tui have a similar style {I think anyway} and many of the elements she has used I also use often on my cards and regular reads would see them straight away like the newsprint, distressing/sponging on the edges, buttons and she also does a good bow. You know what I LOVED this most is how she stamped a silhouette black image on the newsprint…Hello! Light bulb going off! Amazing!  Having said all of that, do you want to see my “case”

Case Study, Forever Young, Buttons, Heart, Got Treats, Brayer, SU, Sydney, Australia, Bow

Inside the card…. I have stamped a tree with the heart like the front but added {love} from Tiny Tags and in the top left corner I did my normal peak a boo newsprint with a little Baja flourish which I stamped from the clock which is part of “Forever Young” stamp set…. that is one of the many yummy new stamp sets in the NEW Australian Catalogue that is out Sept 1st.

Check out the other DT’s creations and be inspired!

Your cards are wonderful, and I used this one for the CASE challenge this week, combining your interpretation of Tui’s inspiration. Thank you so much.

Stunning card! I am desperately hoping that we get offered this stamp set in our new catalogue on 1st October. You’ve done a wonderful job – I always love your creations. XX

I love absolutely everything about this card! I admit that I didn’t really like this stamp set at first, but now I feel otherwise. I especially like the blue heart behind the little girl. i have tried stamping on newsprint myself and am loving that technique. However, yours is just perfect!!

When you do the peek-a-boo newsprint, do you use a whole sheet or just a piece?
