Way back in 2017 I did series called ‘12 weeks of Christmas‘ with my amazingly talented Mum, Stamping Barb. We would showcase the same products to create a card (or three for Mum) and share on our blogs. Mum has just come off a blogging hiatus and she is all inspired to stamp, so she suggested doing it again this year. A smart daughter never says no to her mother and more importantly, a crafty daughter never turns down a chance to craft with her mum.
For the next twelve Mondays Mum Stamping Barb and I will showcase selected products along side what we created using them. We are started with one of my favourite stamp sets from the Christmas Mini Catalogue called Peaceful Deer with matching punch and from the soon to leave Sale-A-Bration range the Peaceful Printed DSP. Bonus you can earn Peaceful Printed DSP for FREE until the end of September with a $90 order.
This year I have made two Christmas cards and they both showcase Peaceful Deer (see the other card here). I have stamped the deer on White cardstock in Real Red ink. I cut a circle from Real Red cardstock to inlay a smaller circle and the deer image.
I just love texture on my cards. Embossing folders are a low-end purchase that always adds so much. The Timber 3 D Embossing Folder just looks amazing.
The greeting is from Tidings & Trimmings which will be a featured product in the coming 12 weeks of Christmas. I have stamped it in Basic Gray on Sahara Sand cardstock.
Along the side of the main panel of Real Red Timber, I have added Real Red Ruffled Ribbon.
I couldn’t help myself, I decided to add splatter in Real Red, Crumb Cake and white paint. Side note: My white craft desk has the off spray of different colours I have splatted over my cards! I need to find a smarter place to ‘splatter’.
Inside the card. The greeting is from Peaceful Deer and the stocking is from Tidings & Trimmings.
Now it is time to jump over to see what Barbara (mum) has created.
