Christmas Moonlight

November 24, 2009

christmas-brayered-sky-line.jpg

I don’t make many Christmas cards that have a Winter and cold feel, because in Australia it is certainly not cold here at Christmas time but I really wanted to make a card using a brayered sky and I am still in love with my little Reindeer from Winter Post. I remember seeing this great card by Claire Daly and I used it as my inspration for my card and added a few more details. This is one of the cards in this weeks technique class, I have already had some of the classes but I still have a few spots left in other classes this week:

To show you what it looks like with falling “snow”.

For the inside I have stamped snowflakes from “Snow Swirled” in tones of Boarding Blue and Night of Navy, I added a little sparkle to the snowflake with Dazzling Diamonds. The sentiment is also from “Snow Swirled” which I have stamped on brayered cardstock and punched out with the wide oval punch.

Materials Used:

Stamps: Snow Swirled, Winter Post and Le Jardin Botanique
Ink: White StazOn, Black StazOn, Boarding Blue and Night of Navy
Cardstock: Wispher White, Boarding Blue and Night of Navy
Other: Chunky Glitter, Dazzling Diamonds, Two Way Glue, Brayer, Wide Oval Punch and Acetate
