If you have been following me for a while you would know I love Christmas, like love it. I start making my cards around now and even start thinking about the theme for my tree and wrapping of gifts about now. This year has been strange and everything is out of whack, I can not tell you the struggle I experienced making my first Christmas card of 2020, I am grateful The Spot issued the Christmas in July challenge
I am sure you can relate, I looked at all my Christmas stamps from past years and felt ‘over’ them. So I decided to use some of the new Printed Paper coming out in the Christmas Mini Catalogue next month.
The paper is called Trimming The Town, it is not showing too well in my photography but the background is a light shade of Pool Party with the smaller trees. I fussy cut the feature trees from the DSP (Short of Designer Series Paper) I sponged a little Pool Party ink behind these trees.
My current favourite embossing folder is Tasteful Textile, check out the effect it adds to the card.
Inside is pretty simple, I have a few extra trees and a greeting from another new stamp set coming next month called Wrapped in Christmas.
Take up The Spot challenge for join the Christmas in July fun.

I am struggling to get into the groove with Christmas too Teneale but having broke into the same pack of paper as you for my entry at The Spot this week I might have to CASE you to add another to my pile! I love the way you made a feature of these trees for your sweet Christmas card this week and used that great label shape too!
