OMG Christmas is now under a week away and I still have loads of cards and projects to show you before Christmas comes and goes….. Like most people I am very busy getting ready for Christmas although I finished my shopping weeks ago and made my cards months ago I still feel like I have a million things to do! for the first year I am the family “Chef” this Christmas, this is a role my sister has held for many years and always cooks the most amazing meals for our Christmas celebrations so I have such huge shoes to fill as my niece Bailey who is only 4 told me last week “My Mummy is the best at everything not you Aunty you just do good craft not cooking….Nooooooo {shaking her head} not good cooking” Can you can see what I am up against? Up until Bailey told me that I did not think I was that bad at cooking but wish me luck!
Seeing I am good at craft I better talk about these cards, I have two simple and elegant cards that are very quick to make to share with you today. For both I have stamped the star in Night of Navy ink over the front of the card and sponged the edge, I stamped the star on Navy cardstock in VersaMark and embossing in Silver then punched the image out with the Star Punch. I have embossed the greeting in Silver as well.
Tripe Stars for a long note card
Materials used:
Stamps: Many Merry Messages and Christmas Classic
Ink: Night of Navy and VersaMark
Paper: Night of Navy and Whisper White
Other: Large Star Punch, Silver Cord and Silver Embossing Powder
Beautifully classic cards again Teneale! You have got a bit of pressure there from Bailey, hope it doesn’t stress you too much and I am sure no matter what the food is like, spending Christmas with family will be the most important thing! Have a lovely and safe holiday; looking forward to seeing the rest of these projects you have to show us!
I love your very beautiful cards, very elegant & timeless looking
These are classic and beautiful! Good luck with Christmas dinner, and your neice is right…you are pretty good at craft! lol!
Oh you made me laugh out loud! How funny are kids! Good luck!
Beautiful classic cards again!
Beautiful cards Teneale…so simple and elegant. Silver and navy is such a lovely colour combo. Enjoy all your preparations and have a wonderful Christmas.
I agree with Bailey, you are very, very good at craft. However, after Christmas day they will all discover you have other talents as well!!!!! I reckon Chrissy dinner will be a sensation a la Aunty Teneale.
Both cards are just lovely Teneale! You are such a talent! I love coming every couple of days to see what you have shared!
God bless you this coming Christmas! All the best! Happy cooking 🙂
You’re so clever. I think I’ll be using your beautiful design on the cards for the ‘special’ people in my life (my make-on-Christmas-Eve cards!!). So beautiful.

Just wondering where u got the silver cord from? Have been on the hunt for it since SU! don’t sell it anymore. Could you pop me an email when you have a chance?
