Close to Blushing….. 14 Days to go.

March 17, 2010

day-15-blush-dazzle-line.jpg

A huge thank you for the lovely emails and comments about my project count down, I really love that positive feedback and I have also been asked LOTS about my bows…… well I have made a video on how I make my bows but it is really bad quality and I just have not had the time to look into how to edit it, however if you have four minutes to spare I have added the VERY poor quality video at the end of this post.

I hope todays card “Razzle Dazzles” you? Well if it does not I can tell you my craft room is most certainly “dazzling” with glitter all over it from this card and other projects I have in the works. I have used a sketch challenge from iheart2stamp.com I flipped the layout but I think it still works. I challenged myself not to use any Pink on this card and pulled out Blush Blossom and Close to Cocoa, it is a colour combo that I have used before and I always think the colours work so well together.

Here is the iheart2stamp.com sketch:
sfytt031310.jpg

So what do you think? Does Close to Cocoa with Blush Blossom work?

day-15-blush-dazzle-front.jpg

Inside I have just stamped the main image from “Razzle Dazzle” along the bottom and applied Dazzling Diamonds Glitter over the image with a Two Way Glue Pen. The quote is from Seaworthy and I will admit I bought that set just for that one stamp….. {is that bad}

day-14-blush-dazzle-inside.jpg

Materials:
Stamps: Seaworthy and Razzle Dazzle from the Summer Mini
Ink: VersaMark, Blush Blossom and Close to Cocoa
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Blush Blossom and Close to Cocoa
Other: Circle Scissors Plus, Daubers, Two Way Glue, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

.

Here is the worst quality video and slowest bow ever being made:

Thanks for stopping by. 🙂

Hey Teneale, I want to set you a challenge! If you post a card every day until end of SAB, I will (try) to comment every day on them. (except for the last weekend when we are at possums and as long as you are not doing them too far out of my sleep zone, I know you can keep up the late nights) The colors in your card are very restful together, they are beautiful and I like the way you have done the half circle thingy with the razzle dazzle in the middle, it makes it look like a big D for the dream in the saying? And your video is really good. I bet we will all do it slower than that when we try it! Thanks for once again sharing your little tricks. You are so talented.

  20. Marelle Taylor says: March 17, 2010 at 8:49 pm

I LOVE this card. Only you can make Blush Blossom look good! And your video is so cute! Thanks heaps for taking the time to do that for us all
    xoxo
