Regular reads of my blog were giving fair warning that I would be using the limited release bundle called “Blended Seasons” a lot this month, for two reasons.
- It is available for August (or until sold out)
- I am obsessed with it!
My obsession with the bundle even issued me with enough confidence to sign up to take part in blog hop showcasing the Colour Your Season product offering with a group of Australian and New Zealand demonstrators. One of the many things I love about being part of the Stampin’ Up! Family is relationships I have built and the peer support and networking within the demonstrator community.
As you hop around the blog hop you will notice how many options the Bundle Season bundle offers, I am using the Christmas styled image with the stamp set. I have used the bell image on the front of the envelope that I made to house one of my first Christmas cards I have made for the season. The printed paper I have used is from the upcoming Hoilday Catalogue.
Using Stampin’ Blends I have coloured the bell. I have used the Stitched Seasons framelits dies to cut the layer behind the oval.
Opening the envelope
The genius of Stampin’ Up! product design, they put so much thought into the functionality. The Holly is designed to fit perfectly inside the middle Stitched Seasons framelit.
It does not show that well in the above image but I have embossed the Sheet Music background stamp. First by covering the VersaMark stamped image in clear embossing and then sprinkling a tiny amount of gold embossing powder over that in sections.
Finally, the inside of the card. I have embossing the Cherry Cobbler background like the front of the card and used the largest frame from Stitched Seasons to cut the layer to write a message. This greeting “Wishing you all the Best” is also part of Blended Seasons.
Now it is time to hop over to Lou Kitzelman, I am excited to see what she has created using the Blended Season bundle.
