This card a tribute to the recent passing of the late Queen Elizabeth II, I am joining some of my Artisan Alumni friends to share cards inspired by the Commonwealth and/or the amazing colours the Queen would wear.
I always think of yellow when I think of the Queen, I know she always dressed in bright colours and it was always monochromatic.
I had to go with flowers, I mean, if I could I would have placed flowers at Windsor Castle. I have fussy cut these from Perfectly Penciled DSP and coloured them with Stampin’ Blends.
Inspired by all the letters she wrote over the years, I added a little script in the background.
I am not sure why but I always think checks are very British.
