Each year I like to find something to make with my nieces for their teachers and support staff as Christmas gifts. Today, they had a pupil free day and I offered to have them for the day as I planned on spending the day stamping and catching up on Stampin’ Up! “stuff” they love getting in my craft room and helping me, I needed to create something for the Global Design Project challenge of food, thinking we could find a cute packaging of a yummy treat they could bake with my sister – their mum.
A quick search on Pinterest with the key words: food, gift and Christmas, we had our project popped up! Cookie mixes in a jar, there are so many ideas from oats to chocolate chip, the girls selected a M & M’s mix.
What a great chance to start working on Christmas gifts and keep two little cuties busy; they prepared a list of who needed gifts and then started making their tags, that is all we could do at this early stage but at least in December we can spend an afternoon, filling the jars.
I even used my older niece as the hand model.
The back of the tag has the instructions.
All of the products used are from Stampin’ Up!’s upcoming Holiday Catalogue, that is out September 1st.
I absolutely love this.
I love this idea and have a multitude of jars for Christmas ready to put my Cookie Mixes in. I adore the way you have dressed you jars Miss T and may have to CASE you there! Precious and Aunty and niece time together too – perfect!
I wish I could subscribe to your blog. I so love all the things you do. Your creativity is amazing and your work is beautiful.
Wonderful idea! I’ve just taken a renewed interest in Stampin Up. Thanks again from Canada!
