Goodness, how am I already posting Easter projects! I feel like I just pulled down my Christmas tree.
The card I am sharing today is part of this weeks The Spot challenge ‘Case the Designer’ Dena Rekow. The thing I love about the monthly ‘Case the Designer’ challenge is looking through amazing stampers blogs, something I don’t spend enough time doing. I pinned many of Dena‘s but this one she created a few weeks ago for The Spot Slim Line challenge was just so stunning.
Now, I did have to pull back on all the brightness that is just so Dena! My colours are more pastel and I moved the greeting lower.
Let’s be honest the star of this card is the flowers, cut using the dies from In Bloom. I watercoloured Fluid 100Watercolor Paper using ink from classic ink pads, you can see the coloured used at the end of this post. I pressed the ink pad to a glass mat (you could use a plate or silicone mat) added a little water and started painted the Watercolor Paper. I started with all the softer tone flowers, after a while I went back and painted a second coat of colour to get that deeper tone to use in the centers.
My current obsession faux chalkboard. If you have been heard of it, you white emboss on black cardstock and lightly rub white Craft ink over the top.
Inside the card, the greeting is from A Wish For Everything Stamp Set.
Here are the product used, items are shipped Australia wide.
I LOVE your so very beautiful card and insert.
