I often speak of how papercraft challenges sometimes really ‘challenge me’ normally it is colour combos that push me out of my comfit zone. This time around I have a total fail, The Spot challenge theme was to create a clean and simple fall card. Sounds easy right?
I really did try to keep it clean and simple but I still have 8 layers of cardstock of the front of this card. Hopeless, I am just hopeless. Even thou I missed the clean and simple mark this card shouts autumn.
I have been doing a few emboss resist cards the past month, it started as a Facebook Live I did for my team of Stampin’ Up! Demostrators as the theme for our monthly challenge. I had so many ideas and different ways I could achieve.
I started by watercolouring Daffodil Delight, Cinnamon Cider, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Terracotta Tile on Shimmery White A4 Card Stock. I allowed the colours to dry naturally and clear embossed the leaves, above you can see my before and just take note it is a different leaf from the Loyal Leaves Cling Stamp Set. After I embossed the leaves I took my Soft Suede Classic Stampin’ Pad direct to the surface. I love how the leaves pop.
