Once a month I take part in a blog hop with 8 Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world, each round we have a new theme and this month we are all sharing Fathers Day projects.
I don’t make that many male cards and I don’t own many masculine stamps, one that I do love is called One Wide Ride and is a motorbike theme designed by a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (Dawn Griffith) as a reward for achieving a million dollars in sales and she did an AMAZING job with this set. This card is very simple but it works, the bike is stamped in Basic Black in on Sahara Sand cardstock with a little texture added with a gravel image stamped over the bike using VersaMark; behind the greeting, I have stamped the tire track in Sahara Sand. The Basic Black cardstock has been embossed with Brick Wall Textured Impressions Folder.
Here is the inside of the card, my fathers day message will be handwritten. In hindsight, I could have left a little more room for my message. Oh well.
Next up on the blog hop is Patrice Halliday-Larsen from New Zealand

wow Teneale absolutely LOVE what you did with this card, so simple, but so very dramatic too.
Love, love, love your card Teneale, simple but very effective.
That is so cool Teneale! The colors are just perfect and your design is amazing. Love every little detail! 🙂
I thought the card you made “Lovely asaTree” was very exquisite. I was wondering what color of ink you used for the tree since there is a brown trunk and green top? I have this stamp set and haven’t used it hardly at all because I haven’t had time to “play” with it to be creative. I thought this would be good for my grandson’s graduation card.
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful card.
