Well, it has been a little while since my last post…. Sorry about that. I have received several emails in the past week checking in to see if I had forgotten about my little old blog and to see if I am ok……….Well I am not sure what to say. To be completely honest I have not been making any cards lately and I have had hardly any classes {shock} I am just not feeling creative or myself at the moment, I have been a little under the weather and I am just taking a little time to “heal”. I don’t really know what to say but I am sorry for not blogging. I have however gone through my card stack and taken photos of some cards I have made and not posted mostly because I did not think they were any good so I do have some cards to show you over the coming weeks…. Don’t get too excited but they aren’t that great {lol}
I have also received over 60 emails asking for a tutorial of my secret message card from my last post, To start with I have never felt so popular so thanks for that. I have been working on a tutorial but not only am I “un-creative” at the moment, My brain is not working so it may have a short delay.
The long and short of it is, Please bear with me at the moment, I really love the fact that people visit my blog and I will try to return to normal programming soon.
In the meantime I have this quick card for you, It’s not my normal style but it was just a card I whipped up the other day for a very sweet friend of mine, A few of you may of heard of her… Well she is the famous Marelle Taylor. We had been on the phone for a “quick chat” which are never quick {lol} and I just wanted to post her a note to just say thanks for being her. I hope I am not alone, I make so many cards but I never seem to send any to friends and family…. So if you are like me, I challenge you to think of a friend or family member that needs a pick up, a thank you for something or just say Hi and send them a card…. Go on…do it.

Hi there, thanks for posting your creations, I so empathise with you on a few levels. I am barely coming to terms with it being o.k. to take some time for yourself when you are sick/under the weather, and now a step further, just because, not needing a reason to take time for ones self.
Also, I have many a creation waiting for me to edit and upload to my blog, I just haven’t! In a bit of a blue winter funk I think.
Thanks for your lovely creations!
I love our Quick Chats and I LOVE this card. Thankyou!! You are such a sweetie. Take all the time you need to look after yourself. We will all still be here when you get back :o)
Oh Teneale don’t ever apologise for not blogging, the main thing is you look after yourself and take whatever time is needed.
This card is beautiful,lucky Marelle.
Hugs

Teneale,
Sorry to hear you’ve been a bit low and that your mojo is still on hols in Brisvegas!! It will come back when the money runs out is my guess. 😉
This just goes to show that your quick and easy cards are still as beautiful and elegant as your not so quick and easy ones. I’ve recently set myself a challenge to make some “just because” cares to have in stock for friends and family who only ever get cards for birthdays, etc. Of course, I moved house last weekend so everything is still in boxes and waiting to be sorted out into my craft corner, so it might take me a week or two to get into my challenge.
So glad you are still around…..I’ve been checking in every day and was getting a wee bit worried. Can’t wait for the tutorial on the secret window card – am on hols at end of this month and hope to get to play with it then. But you take some time to get well again and hopefully your mojo will be back by then too. Praying for a quick return to normal for you.
Lots of loving,
Michey xxx
That’s a lovely card. Even when you’re mojo is gone you do beautiful stuff. I hope you’re feeling ‘yourself’ again soon.
Take care.
Hiya Teneale!
I think many people are low on the mojo as a result of feeling under the weather, so don’t feel badly at all about that! Just take your time, and get back to it when you feel your able.
oh and I totally LOVE your card by the way! Lucky Lucky Marelle!

Teneale….so glad to hear that you are still plugging away…even if not on all 6 cylinders. I hope I speak for many when I say….we will all be here for you no matter when you get back to full/normal programming…cause we admire your work so much. One day at a time…breathe in…out….and repeat!!
That card is just great….so Marelle LOL!!!
Sorry to hear that your mojo and ‘self’ is on holidays BUT so glad you are taking some time to heal…….you’ll be right love, just give yourself a well earned break……
Luv ya

A gorgeous card for a gorgeous person. I agree with Marelle, we’re not going anywhere!
Teneale, I’m another who has been looking every day and getting a bit worried at the long break, but glad to hear you are still out there and puddling along. We’ll all look forward to your new posts cos your work is ALWAYS gorgeous and inspiring, so just take your time to recover and get back to your normal self. Don’t push yourself for our sakes – the most important thing is YOU.
Hi Teneale
I have been so concerned for you and your health – I knew something must have been wrong for you not to blog. So thanks for the update! You get well soon! A good multi vitamin in the morning and chamomile tea at night for a good nights sleep!
All the very best!
Love your card for the very talented Marelle -I check on her blog when I check yours 🙂
Take care! Love and prayers!
Lisa 🙂
Hi Teneale
I hope your rainbow returns really soon.
Thanks for the prod to send a card to someone special. My Mum will be really happy this week thanks to you. 🙂
Love your card as always.
Alex
Hugs Teneale. It’s good to take the time to really look after yourself when you need it. We love your cards but YOU are much more important than anything you create. And yes, Marelle does indeed rock 🙂
Teneale…..we have missed you! But thanks for the reminder that taking a break is a very good thing and ……..yes we will all still be here when you get back 🙂 …………personally, I reckon my MIA Mojo returned as soon as my Mini cataloge goodies arrive on the doorstep a couple of days ago 😉
((HUGS)) Teneale! I know where you’re at, looks like the show sucked the creativity out of all of us 🙁 I hope you start to feel better soon, just know that you are awesomely talented and don’t be so hard on yourself! Your creations are beautiful 🙂 I usually get really worked up when my mojo disappears, but I guess it needs a break and it usually comes back after a bit of a rest… If you ever want to talk… I’ll be thinking of you!
