There is nothing better than a good challenge, and even better when it is a sketch challenge. I have been stalking Freshly Made Sketches for a few years now, they have wonderful layouts and I can not tell you the number of times I have bookmarked one of their challenges but the week runs away before I get to play along. I can not tell the excitement that I finally completed a card before the following Wednesday! (Edit. No I was still too late but I was closer than I have ever been before). I might be getting sick of me using Everything Is Rosy Product Medley because I created to birthday cards this month using it, see one HERE for my friend who was not so excited for her birthday. Also, HERE when I got very clever with Stampin’ Blends and linen thread. On both those posts I used the papers that come in the Everything Is Rosy Product Medley, this time around I wanted to use a different colour combo, something free of pink and navy which featured so heavily in the previous cards. I went bright! Well, bright in “Teneale standards” I picked up Lemon Lime Twist as that retires in June 3rd and I wanted to remind you of that (plus I really like it). I added to that Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink.
As I look at the photos, I think maybe I could have added a repeated the Coastal Cabana, maybe in the sequins instead of using Lemon Lime there. I don’t know.
This is inside the card which could totally be the front of a card, do you agree? I am pretty happy with inside. I have better Coastal Cabana balance.
